  1. Yeah, this really isn't the place for this. Complaining about the exclusion of a dub here isn't going change anything. ArcSys has already made their decision on this, if you have a problem with it, take it up with them on their Twitter or whatever. All you're doing here is filling up pages with a pointless argument until a mod inevitably yells at us.
  2. Honestly? Killer Instinct. It took a while to build up steam due to the small amount of initial content and lower install base on the Xbone, but a couple seasons and an amazing PC port later it's now one of the most fully featured and competent fighters out there. It also doesn't get the flack most other fighters do when it comes to updates because there's a variety of bundles to choose from, and the price points have always been reasonable. ArcSys is a special case in terms of fighting game devs because Japanese arcades are still a very lucrative business for them and are adamant about staying in that market, while most other companies have moved on to prioritizing on console/PC.

  5. lol at people praising Order Sol as the anti-Millia that Xrd desperately needs when Chipp, Slayer, Jam, and Baiken have been doing that since XX. I agree with Pomparomp. This was probably the only time HOS players will ever have gotten the chance for their character to be added in the game, whereas everyone else was an inevitable shoe-in or a new character. I'd vote for him too because I want as many veterans in as possible.

  8. Netplay is the most convenient way to play the game with other people, but no one will ever argue it is the best. It's good for racking up a lot of experience in a short amount of time to get used to things, but people here have been preaching offline play as king since forever. Players who truly want to get better will find other people to play with one way or another. In this Internet age it's easier than ever before. Know why there are still people playing +R despite the online being ass? Because the game is worth it to them. No, they don't live in Japan and they can't get offline matches anytime they want -- still worth it. They're not just gonna stop playing altogether because of it.

    You don't have to FD break to throw out of a dash. Since you can throw during your character's skid animation, just return the stick to neutral quickly as soon as you're in throw range, then throw.

    At the same time though, Johnny's Zweihander had the same inputs as Divine Blade, so people figured it'd likely be the same move under a different name. Same with Axl's moves like Rensengeki becoming Sickle Flash. We'll just have to wait till tomorrow to see.
  11. I was learning ABA in +R because of how ridiculously fun Tsubu made her look. Mode switching characters always seemed really cool to me even if I never got good with playing them, so I kinda wanted to change that with her. If she somehow won I'd immediately switch to her no question. I think Leo would really struggle to stay out of her shadow though. Moroha meter / health management is worth the superior mobility and hitboxes.

    Very much agree. It's really kind of "pick your poison" when I land a hit and just want a knockdown. 2D will hit a croucher but has crap range, HCL has great range but can't hit a croucher. 2S hitting low again would also be sweet.

    Range has never been Jam's strong suit. Trying to contest with Elphelt f.S or 2S would just be a losing battle.

  15. If it's Bridget, so be it. I'd rather they focus on primarily bringing back the remaining cast than creating any more new characters at this point. I'm probably in the minority thinking that, but just seeing and fighting our old pals in this new 3D engine and having one of your training buds finally get his main back is more exciting to me than another unfamiliar face I'll likely lose to for several weeks straight as I learn a new matchup.
