Nothing... Ok well if you whiff a move completely and have 50% tension and need to burn it to avoid big damage then.. thats it. I never use this mechanic and feel it's not something this game even needs. You're constantly canceling your moves at the start anyway, so it's a very rare use of your meter already. Actually the only time I ever use this is when I do Chipps 632146 OD with full meter just to see if I can snag someone in the air. If I didn't I can purple roman cancel it.. lol...

Hmm the match was probably fluctuating a lot cause I don't remember it being that great. It should be much better after the patch from what I've experienced with the same players.

Not a lot of characters really rely on this mechanic as a core thing, but everyone can use it to some extent. For Chipp it is a must have to know or else you lose out on a lot of damage and options. I think May and Ino as well? For most it just adds optimal damage when the enemy is too far up for a normal jump combo, so you would super jump to reach them. Or some really gimmicky shit like, ji bandit revolver, rc the first hit then IAD S D.

Oh hey ggs still haven't vs a better Sin then yours. Hopefully the new patch made our lag a little better, next time we meet. I've been getting some nice 2-3 f matches lately, since it came out. I think our matches were 5-6f before?

Honestly for GG, especially in xrd, you don't need a stick. The only advantage I've ever noticed with stick was I could mash out staggers and dizzy state faster... or mash grand viper to the full extent. I guess also there's less chance of a diagnol input mistake which the ps4 pad seems to give me occationally.

Are you using a pad? I noticed the ps4 pad for me has trouble reading diagnal down left input.... I don't know what it is, but unless I press really hard or hit a sweet spot in a smooth motion, it'll not read it. Pretty annoying when I dont get my rekkas or gamma blade out. It's the only reason I'm thinking about getting a ps4 stick, but ehh I don't think its worth shelling that much money. Also you could try going to training and show inputs. Keep doing the rekkas and see where it's messing up. If the motion is correct, it could be your pressing the button too early or late rather than the motion itself.

People might actually play. Then maybe I can start taking this game seriously, rather than just picking random.
