If all goes well, I should finally be able to have a decent connection running by tonight, meaning that I can finally start playing again. I'm rusty as hell, but I should be able to have some fun regardless.

The new Valk looks even more insane than I imagined. That mix-up seems pretty extreme.

If anyone's doubting the amount of references in BlazBlue, just look at the different achievements over the different iterations. Hazama's "Fangs for the memories" achievement, Ragna's "Nanomachines, Son" achievement, the list goes on. It's part of its charm, in my opinion.

Terumi's is the best though

GGs to FortyPercent. Good stuff, I'm impressed you were able to immediately pick up on your own flaws. I could tell you were consistently getting better and better the more games we played. You almost beat me that last game. If you're fine with fighting someone from EU, I'm game.

BB already rewards offensive play with chip damage and corner carry. You also gain more meter when going on the offensive compared to being on the defensive. (Unless you IB every single hit, I guess.)

Terumi has an overhead. Terumi has mix-up. I repeat, Terumi has mix-up.

I've had this game since day 1 and I had no idea team rooms were a thing.

By "Conditioned", I'm assuming you mean that you're playing into your opponents hand, IE them making perfect reads against you because of something that happened earlier in the match? If so, I just change my tactics drastically as soon as I notice. Sometimes it blows up in my face if I make wrong changes, sometimes I get some amazing reads out of it. Making good reads is literally the only reason I play these games. It's such a satisfying feeling. (EG: "My opponent thinks I'll do X, so I'll do Y instead.")

I do. Haven't tried it with PS4 yet though, but it ought to work just fine. I tried connecting it and it fit perfectly fine, anyway.

GGs to everyone I fought yesterday, especially Jees. Your Jin's great as always, as is your Haku-Men. Ragna's a lot of fun, I dunno why I never tried to get good with him in this version. I'll take you on. I'm pretty decent, but not amazing.
