    seems that way like since your opponent cant burst during a SR(Shadow Fury,Shadow Berserk I dont know anymore) you can use it before the 35% theshold to pack on the damage before awakening or if you still got time you can go for the kill

    First of all, did you forget last year when ultra came out a month before evo? Second, "the hype" that you say disappeared is still here. The players that were hyped for persona are still excited, so don't think just cause a patch that we didn't even know the date for is the reason that numbers were going to drop.

    Welp im screwed :P Wasn't this the goal from the beginning? Yeah the damage nerf is there, but we always had to optimize on our hits to get a knockdown and play neutral (which I suck at but that besides the point). I agree with grove saying that the game plan hasn't changed it just we have to play more honest than ever before. Do I think he is the best still? Heck no, but he isn't what you guys and a lot of other players making out to be. Narukami is going to still be Narukami in 2.0 and we still have a lot to work with even with all the bad that's coming to him.

    Dont worry about it. First of, yes this safejump put of the OP is things you can safejump into just learn the timing and you should be fine. Next, there isn't any video of just solely safe jumps sorry to say but watching matches or specifically Raiden's old 5d oki examples from the original persona 4 arena (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1a8-E-MIIc) they maybe from the old game but they should give you a good idea what safe jumps are and how to apply them your game. Finally, safe jumps and dps in this game is weird to say the least. For example, you can safe jump a yu or mitsuru player for their dps and punish them badly, but for characters like Akihiko, Kanji , and Yukiko you have to time your j.b to make sure you don't get hurt for it, and then with characters like Yosuke or Teddie you cant do it at all as their dp cant be safe jumped. I put a character list of who you can and can't safe jump against in the gameplay discussion. If you have anymore questions ask them in the gameplay discussion as this is for combos. ( Thanks )

    You're fine. Basically safejumping lets you do a jump in attack without fear of a reversal. Yu has the ability to safejump j.b after certain moves as you jump in j.b while holding back. If you time your jump right three things would happen either: a. they get hit trying to mash a button b. you would be able to block a reversal move and punish it or c. they just block it and you can begin pressure. Its one of yu's best tools that every player should learn.

    I'm taking a shot in left field but the burst, so expect a few stupid ideas. 1. They may gain the use of maybe 1 burst per match cause it seem like the start of the match, but that would be a problem once you get 100 SP. 2. Maybe are able to begin berserk at 50 SP Im saying this to the purple outline of the burst and the sp bar but it could be part of the 2.0 design and what would make them easily get it back with a quick combo, maybe reducing the sp gain to normal for the rest of the round?

    At midscreen OMB delay 5d >5b>5dd>(max height)214b will cross over the opp so you can do old p4a combos for the most part,but i don't know how to do 214b at max height sorry .

    J.a works but its must harder to hit so I just air turn then j.a. Edit: actually if yo time your hop just as your dash ends its gets you time to go over do j.a with no air turn.

    Shadow Berserk/Fury Combos are good as you can always try new things to optimize the damage. It also take the pressure of people that have both very good and not so good execution.

    You can do the above or start inputting the moment you see yu heading back into neutral (him moving his right foot back) but its really tight so i would just s hold it

    I seen oki done before by grover, but i havent seen anyway to use it as recovery takes too long for you to setup anything without either doing a 5dd before the mixup or the persona disappearing.

    I agree to a degree its true that Yu's SB combos aren't as safe as others but if you are facing a character that has low health like liz it would be effective. The same with kanji as his high health so a well placed combo can turn the match in your favor, the access to your cross slash if he plays too aggressive and/or risky and that Kanji's primary damage comes from his grabs (dont know if j.c fatal is still a thing) that you can't burst out of so taking normal Yu could be counterproductive. So Shadow Yu could be good in some cases.
