Anyone playing this weekend, especially w.coast & central US? I was rusty yesterday; not playing all week, and putting in much more Xrd time than in this.

GGs to people in a random player room I visited. No one could make it to one I was trying to host- ah well. And Junes. I remeber a few people from here, such as Atarax, with a top-notch Liz (you earned that red card imo). I had a rare win vs. a red card person at one point. I know c.color doesn't always determine skill, but still... What relly surprised me was a set vs. a fellow l.blue (2 bar!) where I had a nice win streak going for a bit. We were having fun, though. I'm glad things weren't uptight over reaching "the next level". Maybe I'm almost back to d.blue. XD

I couldn't reach anyone here yesterday, but will try a few people again today. Feel free to invite me. I can only play this on weekends. Hope to play Xrd as well.

I main him, but am w.coast U.S. Usually try for 2 bars & up, but sometimes try 1 or even 0. Hope to get in some games this weekend. People in this topic can feel free to invite me to a player room. Or I can invite you. Or I'll just see people in Junes. I noticed a few people in Iwatodia last weekend. Seems similar to Junes, only no one hardly goes there. Maybe I should go there & see if people show up too.

Thanks, I wouldn't want to delete anything. Ended up playing again today, and had some wins vs. a fellow l.blue. I was d.blue once, months ago. I'm staying patient since I can only play weekends. The main thing is refining my gameplay & the fun of the game (except for rare cases of lag). Maybe since Atarax is also in CA, we might have a good 3-bar connection if we can play next weekend.

GGs to those in Junes. Anyone from here? A very good Yukari from GFAQs I recall. Had some improvement w/Ted & Kanji, but no wins w/Labrys. My highest win streak so far in the game was 8 using Teddie, vs. a green card Aigis. Unfortunately, it won't help me move up to d.blue. L. blues seem to be very rare & extremely tough to beat. Will be back on today for this & Xrd, so feel free to invite. Sent invites yesterday, but I guess people were on different schedules.

For match finding this weekend: Not sure if this has been attempted, but is anyone up for a regional player room? Love those 3 bar connections when I find them, but finding them can be quite random. I wouldn't mind hosting a w.coast US/Canada room on Sat. afternoon sometime. I'm low intermediate (maybe), but all skill levels could join. Maybe advanced people could use subs. Might be a good way to get in future matches w/3 bar PSN friends made. Thanks.

Thanks. I'm a bit confused by lobby navigation in this game, though. Do you search somewhere in Central US region, look for a lobby (door icon maybe) called beginner, then access a menu to enter the password?

GGs to people in Junes, including anyone from GameFAQs (WT_Neptune) & from here. Focused on Kanji the most this weekend, and improved. I almost never find l.blue cards, so the wins I get never allow my card to change. Ah well. Still working on Teddie & Labrys as well. Love the sets w/3 bars for good connections. Already looking forward to this & GG next weekend.

Everyone else in Junes & player room matches. Inside the TV seems pretty quiet, but I can uderstand why. Improved my Kanji thanks to combos & vids posted here, training & good matches. Still slowly improving Ted & Lab as well. The wait's on for Fri. If anyone's w.coast US especially, feel free to add me, send an invite, etc.

That was me. Yeah, GGs. Figured the connection might be rough due to location. Grimsley's in the Bay Area, though. Might be lag-free. Thanks for the tips, Pro. Not much I can do vs. your Zuki, but had a good match vs. your S.Naoto. I'm focusing on Ted & Lab since I rarely win with Kanji or other characters. I like to use some more of the cast for fun, though. Seem to do better w/my neutral & combo confirms vs. people a bit below your skill level. Didn't realize I spaced out at all, but missed some throws when trapped in the corner. Gotta watch that. Still getting used to being competitve in airdashers. I used to do Capcom games in arcades for a long time, but yeah they play a lot differently. Still keeping up Skullgirls, though. Hopefully its style isn't distracting me from this game. GGs with GreaterForce as well. And the person with the 3-bar connection in Junes (TV World was empty all weekend). After that set, it's hard to go back to 1-bar & below. The combo practice in training & challenges feels tougher to hit online, but I try. Had some fun with the room I hosted, though almost every Adachi this weekend seemed to have minor "issues". Glad I improved a bit this weekend.

GGs with Greater Force. And a PSN friend I have & some of the random people. No one from DL or gameFAQs but HMMixer I sent requests to responded (though we didn't get to play). But schedules vary, and people have reasons for not being able to/choosing not to respond. Gradual improvement w/Teddie, Labrys, and Kanji. Did poorly with Ken and Junpei, so maybe I'll focus on fewer characters.

Another weekend using this character a lot has brought some improvement, but I still have beginner-ish questions: What do you do if the opponent is hit by an oil drum or frozen in ice, etc.? If you can Circus Bear or SB N.Hand, that seems good. If I don't have the SP, AAA> 236 A>Toss some items? Not sure what is best thing to do is given that huge window to attack. Guess I don't want to drop an overly complicated combo online... Thanks for any tips.

Alright, thanks for the rundown. I've fought a good Ken in TV World (TheBestNinja), and will consider sticking with him, doing some Training, etc.

Thanks for all the info. General subjective question: Was it hard for you to learn this character? How long did it take? I've been considering him as a sub, but am just not sure. He's a bit different than the more straightforward heavy-hitters I'm used to.

Tons of great info, here. For a beginner, are there a few combos that are optimal to focus on? I get sometimes get overwhelmed by too many & end up writing down & practicing ones I cant' even pull off in fighting games. Thanks!
