  1. Nice reverse OCV omni against Dacid's team. You have a pretty solid Makoto. That last round versus Tager had me on the edge of my seat lol.
  2. Hey there, I changed my style to mobile and now I can't edit my options. Would it be possible for you to reset my style on my profile so I can actually edit my profile settings? Thanks [EDIT] Nevermind I added: "?styleid=-1" to the end of the URL for the settings and was able to change the settings myself. Thanks though.

  3. I am in total agreement with you here. I'd post it, but I don't have the Makoto knowledge yet nor the time to maintain an original post of that nature. [EDIT] I think in the combo thread we should list any tips for executing the combo, such as the tips that have been listed repeatedly about 214B~B j.D 236~6A. I think we also need to mention Option Selects, just to inform people about how to take advantage of them. Omni's post: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?11493-CS2-Makoto-Nanaya-s-General-Discussion-Thread-(2A-gt-6K)&p=1029276&viewfull=1#post1029276 Exciel's post: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?11493-CS2-Makoto-Nanaya-s-General-Discussion-Thread-(2A-gt-6K)&p=1029366&viewfull=1#post1029366 St1ckBug's post: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?11493-CS2-Makoto-Nanaya-s-General-Discussion-Thread-(2A-gt-6K)&p=1038918&viewfull=1#post1038918 P.S. Good luck Omni, show Dacidbro why he lives in "Free"-mont :P P.P.S. Just teasing you Dacidbro, I enjoyed watching your matches when you came up to PNW. You bodied Derek's pheonix something fierce in MvC3 LOL!
  4. The last combo thread was great, but I'd also like to see stuff that is commonly overlooked in such a post. Block Strings: which omni already posted here: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?11493-CS2-Makoto-Nanaya-s-General-Discussion-Thread-%282A-gt-6K%29&p=1024377&viewfull=1#post1024377 Ronove added some info to it here: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?11493-CS2-Makoto-Nanaya-s-General-Discussion-Thread-(2A-gt-6K)&p=1024810&viewfull=1#post1024810 and move analysis: which omni posted here: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?11493-CS2-Makoto-Nanaya-s-General-Discussion-Thread-%282A-gt-6K%29&p=1027287&viewfull=1#post1027287 A simple quote of those posts would be great just to have a unified location for the information.
  5. I'm really looking forward to this when you have some time to post the notations. I've recently decided to start playing BBCS again after taking a few months off and Makoto seems like a lot of fun. Mokoto is very different from the normal types of characters I play, but she is really fun. Any combo thread that is made would be greatly appreciated. Right now I'm keeping the combos simple and working on getting consistent with executing challenge 6 without looking at the bar nor rings, since it has a lot of her fundamentals of what is discussed here except for the 214B~B j.D(3) 2366A which I will be working on next. Any other tips for a developing Makoto player beyond what is already said here?

    [CT] ν-13 Combo Thread

You need to hit with j.C at the very top of their launch, and hit with J.2C as they start to fall. The goal is to slow their descent enough such that you can hit with j.2DD before they get a chance to recover or get to low that j.2DD misses them. it's very challenging and usually not done off of 4B. tuka has posted some nice advice on the subject earlier in this thread somewhere.

Such an excellent video for showing the 2147D loop in the first round of match 2. Minori gets it off twice.

    [CS1] Lambda General Discussion

The group I play with makes fun of Rachel since most of her BnBs can't do more damage than Lambda's air throw. 2000 damage is nice

The 10% is being able to jump cancel 5DD and 4DD and that they combo even on standing. haha

    [CS1] Lambda General Discussion

Depending on what is going on if I get a 236D to get blocked I usually follow it up with a 2147D, 214D, 236B, 236C, or slight delay into 236A tick throw. If 236D does hit you have quite a few options, you can go into 236C combos or 214D combos or 2147D combos. Just adjust your timing accordingly to maximize your 236D hits.

    [CT] ν-13 Combo Thread

I'm kinda surprised at no j.214D after the first j.2C I would have thought they would be able to tech before the 3C would connect.

    [CS1] Lambda General Discussion

There was an early vid where that was the strat against tager. I was kinda surprised the strat was used but it is amazing how fast 214D and 236C gets rid of primer. It may have been from a loc test, I don't recall when I saw it.

    [CT] ν-13 Combo Thread

In order to get the 2DD to follow the 5DD you need to land the 5DD at the earliest possible point. The combo you listed can be better optimized to the following and about the same difficulty and more damaging: remember it is a dash not act parser, so you need to have a slight delay. If you don't have room to 6C > Dash > 2DD > etc., you can replace that part with 6DD > 2DD > j.DD > j.DD > j.214D but it is more damage to get the j.2C in there.
