Is XBlaze: Code Embryo worth it? I never felt it had much appeal and its reviews are somewhat mediocre to say the least However, now that Es has been announced as a character for CF, I feel almost compelled to buy it. What do you suggest?

I'm about to buy revelator but I have a question: does the EU version have the same problem with DLC characters that SIGN had? In Sign you couldn't buy Elpeth or Leo in the European PS store: they were just not available to us Will I be able to download DLC characters in Revelator from the PS store? I am buying this game basically to play as Dizzy and Jack O', so not having Dizzy would be half the fun

If you are relatively new to the game, just choose the character you like the most Tier lists don't have any meaning if you are just beginning as the difference in skill level between you and your opponent is waaaaaay more impactful on the match than the character you chose By the time you'll become competent, one of the following will be very likely: -A balance patch is released -A whole new game in the serie is released (rebalanced) -Someone figures out how to properly use your character So if you like Jam or any other character, stick with it and have fun!

Just upgraded to BBCPE from CSE and toying with new characters I like I'd like to know how easy/hard Kokonoe, Izayoi and Nu13 are for a beginner

Is there a beginner guide to Kokonoe? I just upgraded to BBCPE and I'm curious to try her. And... how difficult is she for a beginner to learn?

Mmm... time to chose a character to play in GG! And of course I'm here for brainstorming Characters I'm considering -Axl: when I pick him and try his normals and specials, I really feel like I'm having a huge fun. However, as I did not play any previous GG and as he had not so much screen time in Xrd I can't really understand him and I don't know if I can relate to him (Yes if: he isn't stupid but plays dumb/carefree; No if: he is just a comic relief) Things that I like: spacing, his weapon, him being carefree, time-travel sort of things -I-NO: she is hands down the character I like the most in terms of character design. I have a weakness for witches and wizard hats so she hits on my weak spots. And I play in a rock band too, so lulz. I like her moves but not so much her knock-down-oriented gameplan. Again, not enough scren time to understand her character. -Ramlethal: I'm not so much into evil coolderes but I like characters who evolve during the story. I like her design a lot (2nd after I-NO), she's really cute + I like her "familiars". And I really really really like how she looks on screen if used by a competent player. Sword placing and corner pressure vaguely remind me trap placing and pressure from Rachel Alucard, my BB wannabe main. With a huge emphasis on "VAGUELY" -Faust: probably the character I enjoyed the most in story mode. However, for some reason he doesn't click with me while I mess around with his moveset. So strange, I usually enjoy characters with unusual tools and rationally speaking I "should" like him, based on my taste. -Jack o': she is not out yet, she is not out yet, she is not out yet, she's not out yet... you got it. But I love Jack-o-lantern and halloween themed characters/moves/whatever. And she has that trollish and RPG-ish feeling in her moveset that drives me crazy. And she is cute. But not enough screen time to know her ('cause she's not out yet LOL), and... she's not out yet

Drive is an amazing system for delivering "uniqueness" to characters, but I think you can find something similiar to the drive mechanic scattered between each GG character's specials or movement options (i.e.: Venom's ball stuff, I-No forward dash...) Zato is able to summon its "puppet" for example and that's basically a drive. Speaking of Zato, if you like Relius, he is probably the one that strikes me as vaguely resembling Relius in both being a puppeteer and being a "dark" character. Sure, it's not the same at all, but it's as close as you'll get, I fear...

Being a Blazblue player and loving its characters, I think I can understand. Aesthetically speaking, GG caters to a slightly different crowd than BB, in my opinion. Characters in GG are all somewhat more... manly. BB characters have definetly a softer and more misterious appeal while GG characters pack more punch. That made my job of picking a character I liked in GG much easier than in BB because very few characters in GG met my aesthetical standards, while chosing a main in BB was difficult as hell

I'm new to GG and I'd like to enjoy Xrd story mode: how can I catch up with the lore?

Blazblue player here! Some days ago, I almost made up my mind and decided to main Rachel. However, just to be sure I won't regret, I am still trying out other characters before I totally commit myself to our favourite vampire mistress In particular, I'm now toying with Platinum. Because yes, lolis are good in both gothic and magical clothes. Can you give me some general opinion about her/him/it as a beginner character? I thought she/he/whatever should be hard because of RNG and the need to memorize different combos for each tool she has, but people on the internet keep rating her low on a difficulty level.

Hello! I'm playing BBCSE (planning an upgrade to BBCPE in a couple of months) and I really CAN'T chose a main. The whole cast is so amazing! After MUCH thought in which I considered something like half a dozen of characters, I narrowed my choices to Rachel and Relius I hope you will give me some suggestions, even if the final decision should of course be mine ^^" Rachel because: -she is probably my favourite character in the story -I love playing with wind -I love pumpkins & halloween -Goth loli = love -I like zoning and traps But I am a beginner. And she is HARD Relius because: -Mad scientists are one my favourite tropes -I like marionettes slightly more than zoning -Carl is too damn hard -Ignis is a blast Let's just say I like playing with Relius slightly more even if I enjoy both a lot. However I love Rachel as a character and not playing as her makes me sad even if I like her gameplan just a tiny bit less than Relius'. All of this while hoping I will not like Kokonoe too much as I'll shift to CPEX. Which is a very real possibility.
