  1. If you look at mike z's match you'll notice a big reason he lost is because he got whiff punished for doing 236B from too far away. nu would wait for it and punish the whiff with 5D combo so basically, if the Nu player shows that she can reliably whiff punish you for spamming 236B from too far out you gonna have to refrain from doing it unless you're in range.


  2. this isn't necessarily about buffering the grabs but it is important and have not seen it mentioned

    we know that his command grabs are breakable if the enemy is in blockstun or hitstun right? well there's ANOTHER time they can break it that I haven't seen mentioned yet

    any normal canceled into command grab makes it breakable, even if they are not in hit or blockstun! edit: unless you do 6A to a fully charged 360A which is unbreakable apparently?

    5A > 360B for example. they are not in hitstun or blockstun yet they can break it if you cancel to the 360B. if you wait and then do the 360 by itself of course it will be unbreakable.

    ok to add more confusion, it seems like you can't cancel to 360s from some normals like 5C/5D/2B/2D etc. yet if you do 2B into a 360 quickly it will be breakable. so I guess this means doing a 360 right after they leave hitstun/blockstun makes it breakable as well? what a bunch of silliness I don't understand it lol


  3. His tools are pretty weak overall. No real good AA, his backdash is not that great, his 360s have a LOT of startup. He pretty much has to have magnetism on to get things rolling. 720 is kind of prohibitive because you need to buffer for it. His normals are slow and have poor hitboxes.

    I agree, anti air is a huge problem. So far I've had most success with 5C as anti air. to deal with people who go really high (too high for 5C) I've started trying to jC counterhit them...seems like an ok air to air move

    I'd be interested to know what moves are helping others with anti air.

    also this part of the guide should be changed I believe lol

    j.2C Tager does an elbow drop with a full-body hitbox. Has a lot of startup, but recovers pretty quickly and can combo into stuff. When done immediately before landing, it functions as an instant overhead.

    lol? even if you do it immediately upon leaving the ground (which is probably what you meant) it isn't too hard to react to i'd think

    I agree. I was kinda confused because I was like "heat=heat knuckle" and then I was like "wait the supers in this game are called heat...does that mean I'm supposed to do electric super?" lol
