  1. Okay back home now, man that car ride sure felt a lot shorter going to NEC than coming back! The event was godlike, I'm already missing you guys ANIME FAMILY FOREVER!!!! Shoutouts time I guess ugh I'm horrible at these I can never remember everything so I AM TERRIBLY SORRY if I forget to mention you! Shoutouts to: St1ckBuG and Big E for organizing and running the greatest goddamn event of the year, you guys must put up with so much shit I can only begin to comprehend the amount of stress it puts on you guys, so thank you so much for dealing with it. Great to see you both again, and Alan it was nice having at least a few matches against you in GG. Definitely learned just from that small amount of watching you play. All the TOs and guys running the stream for helping make this event run. I didn't spend that much time in the anime room (too many bodies lol) but you guys were run ragged by the end of Saturday for sure. You guys are just as godlike. People who roomed with me, Circuitous, Sanoshi, Brandino, Troll Badguy, DaiandOh, Severin, and Guymam. You guys are all such bros and I'm so glad that everyone had a great time. Seriously, I couldn't think of better people to room with, I miss you guys already. Everyone who stopped by our room on Saturday for Guilty Gear. Room 308 was the Guilty Gear room and I loved it. Wish I could've gotten matches with everyone but there were just too many people. Great to see some of you again and meet others for the first time! Montreal, you guys are godlike. Thanks for running great anime rooms and just being so godlike. First order of business right now is to start looking at my passport. I do NOT WANT TO MISS MAD AND NEITHER SHOULD ANYONE ELSE lol. More specifically, shoutouts to: Kaeru, dude like I said, I'm not upset about losing to you in tournament, you seriously got a LOT better since SJ. But I'm gonna get over my tourney nerves before we next meet, so you better keep leveling up! Thanks a ton for the Baiken knowledge, it was great being able to just sit down with someone for a few hours and play one on one casuals. Troll Badguy, I miss you bro! It was really nice just doing that training mode session, and being able to have a chance to be able to play without any pressure. It actually sorted out a lot of stuff. Can't wait to keep playing Gear with you! Sanoshi, Severin, Guymam, great meeting you all IRL finally! Really cool you could make it from WC to hang out! Sanoshi you're fucking hype as hell and I love it, and Sev and Guymam are just hilarious together. Keep exploring dark alleyways Guymam!     5H -> 6K is a gatling, actually. 5H > 6K > stuff to keep them blocking and get to a blockstring ender. As for your best options off of a 2H, eh depends on their weight class and hitbox. 2H FBPB corner loop or card depending on how far they are should always work and is good, obviously. 2H 6H H card if you don't have meter. 2H 6H xx 5S air combo gets more damage and if you have a card you can go into charged ryujin for a wall loop.
  3. Answered earlier in the thread. PS3; plenty of people are bringing their PS3 with the JP version of GGAC+, and it's completely identical and playable to the US version.

  5. St1ckbug: Circuitous' PS3 is uh...crippled. Its HDMI port doesn't work. If that's fine and you could use component, we can use it for a setup with GGAC on it. If not, then he just won't bring it and we'll be down a GGAC setup. He can still bring P4U though.

    Kurushii picked it up for us a while ago, yeah. Check the character pages and the AC+R pages on the wiki; we've started putting up the frame data as it's been translated.
  8. St1ckBuG, just to let you know I spoke with Brandinoli and he'll bring his PS3 with GGAC on it so there's another setup for that, just in case US PSN doesn't have it in time.

  10. I asked this on Twitter but never got a surefire answer, so if we have ANYONE in Japan who can test this it'd be cool. Basically I know that, in GG, Slayer can cancel the startup of his backdash with a jump, then cancel the jump startup with a special move. This lets him use special moves while retaining the invincibility of his backdash. This is called a "Backdash Cancel", and it is a very strong, albeit difficult technique for Slayer players. Now, since Azrael has the same teleport-type dash as Slayer does, I'm wondering if the BB engine is similar enough to the GG engine to allow a similar sort of Backdash Cancel. If we have anyone that can test this, it would be awesome.
  11. Hey Teyah, since you've got mod powers on GG Online Play and as of now playing GGAC online is HIGHLY region dependent, would you mind editing the OPs of the XBL/PSN directory threads to include everyone who's posted their info and sort them by region? It'd be really nice. Thanks.

    Yeah, that's it. That's how it goes over stuff like what I listed. It's just, Jam's new 6H (the palm) is low invul on the front leg and is throw invul, plus has a huge hitbox and leads into huge damage on CH...so I don't know why she needed her old 6H.
  15. Tap back/downback S+H within 2 frames of the attack hitting you during it's active frames. It's not hard. On multi-hit moves, block the first hit, then SB the second. After that it's just practicing to get the timing down. Then doing it in a real match.

    Pretty sure it can be used to beat out some attacks like Ky's 2S or Robo-Ky's 2K for a nice CH, but I dunno how to combo from it and if it's anything like it was in #R if you use it wrong you're going to get hurt for it (even if you hit them). But that's very minor #R experience from me, I dunno how useful it really is. Though since 6H is still lower body invul I don't really see why she needs the 3H, they both cover pretty similar situations.

    A Heads-Up, Kurushii got us the mook for GGAC+R and has already scanned the Jam frame data, keep an eye on the Jam GGAC+R Wiki page tonight as I'll be working on updating that with her latest frame data. Some special notes: 6H is now +3, down from +5. 5D is now 26f startup, up from 24f startup. Charged 623K is now 90f untechable time, up from 60f untechable time. Other than that though, as far as I've seen she hasn't changed too awful much, if at all in the frames.

    IAD has a minimum height requirement, you're probably inputting the airdash too fast and it won't go out since you're too low.

    The people telling you this are either A) Bad or B) Lying to you. You can get damage fine as any character in this game (cept Bridget and even then...) and Knockdown is strong in GG so you can get MORE damage off of good oki. If Damage were king and KD didn't matter, Millia wouldn't be higher than Jam or Slayer in the GGAC tier list.
