  1. Nobody wants more fan service characters, nor did anyone stop you or others from stating your opinions. You are allowed to. It's just that some people aren't as bothered by it as you are and that is our opinion. Remember: Just because you feel like you've been punched in the face, doesn't mean others feel the same. If you really want to make such a big deal out of this, go tell Arksys instead via social media, no one is stopping you. Yeesh.
  2. I find Mu-12's design to be more of a fanservice than Mai's. I'm ok with the designs, probably because I'm not bothered by cartoon nudity. Back to gameplay, I like what the evernote notes say. She sounds fun to play. The DLC part makes me sad, though.
  3. Also to add, she is being chased in the manga by some new villains that want to turn her into an Azure Grimoire (since she is the grimoire that can turn into any other grimoire).
  4. Well, you can find high-res official character art over at "the fighters generation" but it's the select screen art we've already seen. There's always the wiki, too.
  5. I have a question. Does it say if Mai is going to be DLC? I'm still confused on whether Es is or not.
  6. So kind of like a tricked-out Billy Kane from SNK's fighters maybe?
  7. Actually, I forgot that this isn't the story thread. Back on topic. How do you guys think she will play like? I am not an expert on spear characters.
  8. I never got that impression when playing CT and CS. I liked them because they are fun characters and they flesh out the world in an interesting way. How is Tao important? Bang wasn't that important in CS. Neither was Makoto ,Arakune or Litchi. But I like them because of how they interact with other characters and their own story. I always assumed other people did so too for other characters, since the story mode involved playing each character and not everyone had to save/end the world. The new ones don't have to be central to the plot now, since it centers on Ragna anyway and you can play their Arcades (with multiple Acts) to learn more about them. I really do not see an issue. How is this different from CT or CS?
  9. The game isn't even out yet and neither is the story mode. Calm down, you might like it. So people got sucked into a bubble, Ragna sets on a quest, on the way he encounters peeps and among them unfamiliar faces but he doesn't care and goes on to fight the final boss. I don't see why adding more characters is an issue, it's ending Ragnas story but they don't seem to be that important (maybe Es is, like, the guardian to Amaterasu but that's fine with me). It wasn't a problem in Continuum Shift, it won't be in this I'm sure. Ragna may stumble onto, say, Naoto but he'll then go his way and to find out why Naoto is there, players should play the Arcade mode (Which has multiple Acts per character). I think that's ok. Gives the game more replay value and that way focuses more on a certain character instead of trying to flesh them out in the story mode. Also, I'm new and read this in the guidelines: " 11. Being a giant whiny crybaby or otherwise being insufferable about something stupid will get you banned because frankly, nobody wants to listen to you complain. Likewise goes for being thickheaded or making massive jumps to conclusions about shit."
