    How do I mixup players with really good reaction time? When I went to the arcade this weekend and fought good players they reacted to all of my 6Ks, crossup dashes, etc..after leaving I noticed I didn't bite very much and that probably could have netted me some extra damage..but bite is kind of low damage IMO. The only guaranteed combo off it only does 70. When you guys fight people who can react to 6K every time, what do you do? Do you use 6k fake?
  3. Actually nevermind.. I think I was just looking at players who were trying to Instant Block and hit venom back. I still need help with reversal backdash. I can use reversal specials pretty easily on wakeup but I think reversal backdashes have a much smaller window right? Anyone wanna share how they time theirs or is it just something I have to go at for days in training mode?
  4. Yeah that's just Jam's special ability. Forward->Back = Parry. why don't people FD more when they block? It's one thing when you're trying to instant block a string, but I see good players who really have no hope of getting out of a string who could easily end the pressure by FDing for one second. It barely even costs any tension.

    Ok thanks..does that mean I can't do it at the arcade? Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Slayer is very good at raising the guard guage. His moves just don't raise it enough and his pressure strings are more about hoping for a counterhit or for the opponent to defend themself the wrong way. I see a lot of 6K, 5k, 5k, 5k, 5k-> mappa or 6k, 5k, 5k, 6k, 5k, 2k, 2h, that kinda stuff.

  9. Hey guys sorry if this has been answered somewhere but I honestly look around and found nothing. Why can't I high jump cancel? I'm trying to high jump cancel Order Sol's 5H and I just get a regular jump cancel. Also what's up with Ky/Sol/Order Sol's small recovery after landing from a jump? Do any more characters have this? How do I get rid of it?

    To link off of 2K wait until the shiney spark that shows up dissipate and then push the button. That's how I time it. How good would you all say Footloose Journey (214k in air) is? How am I supposed to use S Dandy Step? It seems too easy to react to.

  12. Since it seems like reversal backdashes/reversals in general are important in this game, how am I suppose to time them? How big of a window do I have? Is there a notice like in Street Fighter or do I just have to have it down?

    Slayer AC strats

    Hey guys, I'm new to Slayer but decided he does too much damage to ignore him. So far I've gotten pretty much no competition, spending most of my time in training mode before i head to the arcade. Some questions: What is BDC Mappa good for? How often do you guys use Pile Bunkers? How safe are they? (I know the FB one is safe) What would do you guys do for combos off of 2H assuming you have no meter and are far away? What would you guys do for combos off 2H assuming you have no meter and are close up? When I'm in the corner and very close, I use 2H, 5K (jump cancel) j.K, j.2k, j.k (jump cancel) dj.K, dj.2k, dj. D. I was so fucking giddy because I found this just by fucking around in training mode and it seems pretty good. Then I realized its not that great because they need to be cornered and I need to be really close. Also, for some reason, I have a LOT of trouble doing this on the left side..and I'm not one of those people who can only play fighting games on one side. I'm pretty good on both. My problem is right at the j.2k (jump cancel) part. On the left side, the jump cancel just..doesn't come out! I just fall to the ground. WTF. Anyone know what my problem is? Thanks in advance

    For some reason you just have to do 623K. Putting an extra forward motion will give you Ryujin.
