[CSE] Litchi Faye Ling - Combo Thread

If you're doing the ender (5B 6C etc.) and starting it with them still on the ground, it's very possible that it's not working because the opponent is too low for the ender to work. Try doing 2C 6D ender instead.
  2. it's ok, i am his rock and he keeps leaning on me

That's actually not the fix if they're teching in the air. Delaying j.236B after j.2B makes them higher up, not closer to the ground. If they're teching in the air before 236B, it's because they're too high. The way to fix that is to delay xxxx 236B > 63214A > j.2B > j.236B > xxx

    5B > 6B > (2C) > Hatsu > RiichiA > IppatsuA > B > [Haku > Hatsu >RiichiA > j.2B > j.Hatsu > Haku > Chun > 5B > 6C(1) > 4kote > Ender] / [5D > Chun > 6D > 5D > 6A > (6B[m]) > 6D > Ender] 99% sure these work, might be something better for second option.

If you're not getting 6D after TK Chun you need to fix your TK Chun height.
  6. Any time Litchi manually sets her staff down while pressuring you (when she uses 5D or 2D) are good times to try and hit a button. Be wary of her large amount of late-chains (delayed chain into a normal), if you are going by assumption and hitting buttons preemptively you're likely to be counter-hit.

This hasn't been true since CS1. 2C]m[ counts as a completely different normal, making 2C 5C 2C[m] possible.

zzz wasn't paying attention that you were talking specifically to Star-Demon. My bad. If you can get into Ippatsu off of 3C CH you should also go into that combo, it'll net you some more damage. The one I posted for Staff 3C is what you need to learn also.

It wasn't specified in Romey's post but the proration on both normals is the same IIRC, you'd get about the same damage midscreen with either move.

Is it really that hard for you guys to go in to training mode and learn when to release the staff and the different delays for Hatsu > Chun at different parts of the screen? It works up to about 3/4 or 2/3s the stage away from the corner if you do Hatsu Chun 2C 4D. If your back is all the way in the corner when it happens you can transition into 5B 2C 6D(1). EDIT: Even if you can't do that, ItsuuC > 6kote > Hatsu > RiichiA > IppatsuA > B > (3C > 2D > Hatsu > Chun > 6C) OR (5D brief hold > Chun > 5B/2C > TK Chun > Corner stuff) is still better than what you yourself have listed.

3C CH ItsuuC 5D (brief hold) Hatsu Chun staff2 2C 6D/4D corner combo is ideally what you should go for.

I really doubt there's a more optimized 3C CH combo than what we have already. 3K is pretty respectable anyways considering you get a lot of corner carry and meter gain from the combo. And the brief time window where you can Shishin or D after Itsuu keeps the staff in 2D set, there's no way to change it.

I've been reading everything you say and I'm honestly tired of the garbage you post over and over. You don't read a damn thing anyone says to you. Stop looking for attention here.

Play a different character if you care so much about tier placement.

I haven't noticed such a thing. You may want to check if you're subconsciously barriering/IB barriering it.

Her placing seems somewhat sporadic right now, it doesn't really matter in this game. If you're not in the S-tier, your placement doesn't really change anything.
  17. -likes post- People may want to consider the fact your depth perception is going to be different when switching to and from the stream set up from the arcade setups.

Also if you autoguard something like Dead Spike or Jin's 2D and use Itsuu the projectile still eats it anyways
  19. I'd like to clarify that as far as I know, PNW had a great time anyways despite the tournament problems. I myself enjoyed casuals and hanging out with people that I haven't seen in a long time, however, the scheduling is consistently off and people are ALWAYS late and ALWAYS go out to eat. This has to stop, you have to actually do something, cut the bullshit. If you DQ'd me because I went off to dick around when I knew I had to show up, then that's my fault. You should treat everyone else the same way, out of town or not. As tournament entrants, we're obligated to abide by the tournament rules and schedule. To add on to that note, my biggest problem was that Saturday night I could not get an answer for when BB finals were. That's not acceptable, I don't want to ask my TOs when finals are and have them say "we don't know yet" the night before finals. I need to sleep, I was called at 12 PM and asked where the hell I was and then I show up to the venue and finals don't start for 6 or so hours. That kind of disorganization shouldn't be happening for a tournament that calls itself a major.
  20. 6B and 5B are both level 3 moves so yes.

You need to fix your attitude. Every time I see someone offer you advice or help in this forum you always have an excuse to throw at them. Meet up with local BlazBlue players because you DO have some near you. If you aren't willing to travel then you already don't have what it takes to be a good player, sitting at home isn't going to get you anywhere 95% of the time. I answer questions all the time in here, you don't need a mentor. You need to stop being lazy and use the vast information you have at hand, suck it up, sit down and practice. Think about the game theory, watch match videos and ask yourself "Why is this player doing x? Why is it even working in the first place?". You want to take it seriously, so take it seriously.

Play a more basic character until you can understand the game and system mechanics. If you still don't even understand basic game mechanics, you're fighting an uphill battle trying to learn a more complex character. Also: Go to meets.
