    Anyone care to help me find the vids on this page? I dont speak japanese and even if i google translate the page i dont see any obvious movies or anything else kind of link. I'd really like to see these matches but this just seems like somebodies blog. PM or link would be nice. Thanks in advance if anyone bothers.

    P fish bites too short off of a knockdown from ~throw range on the first bite so that your opponent can usually get up/superjump out/escape before the second bite happens. If your opponent is smart they can usually use that small gap to escape. From throw distance (or off of a throw) K fish as soon as they hit the ground Will be at perfect distance and if timed right will hit right as they stand. Its a tighter lock, but if the timing is a little off they can probably still Superjump out. Laser was great cuz it covered a larger area and made this essentially error proof. P fish -> dash in combos, work. In fact, these have been featured in several combo videos spanning from #R and slash. The problem with this approach is you have to approach first before fish attack to close the gap before p fish bites. Since you are in front you are open to get hit. If you are trying variations like this try hitting them with quick activating moves from max distance (2p). 2p Activates fast enough that it would stuff most moves they tried to counter with. This approach will not work against people like Sol who can just mash V/V and beat anything you do. So this would probably be character specific against people who dont have great wakeup. As for p link to HS fish, I saw this work once in a vid from AC at a long distance but that is it. Since I dont know much about AC timing whether this would be viable from up close or even a good consistent tactic at all is yet to be seen. Hopefully more vids will clarify. It seems like you would have the same problem as before though of the laser not being able to activate fast enough. Although at least I think it would be far enough back. As for K fish -> Laser after first bite, this is an interesting idea. Does anyone know how you select it to switch to laser after first bite. Is it just negative edging HS or do you do a full 214 HS? Im sure we would find lockdown patterns that had you throwing in a hardslash and at same time preparing a laser. I dont know if all of it would be fast enough to make it inescapable though.

    Unless they changed the timing on K fish, you can still do Oki off knockdown with that. You have to release it right around when they hit the ground and if you get the timing right it will bite the instant they get up. I used to practice this and hit it 100% so it is very doable. A little less coverage than HS fish, but it will still help lockdown people on wakeup. I used to do this in #R i think and it was better than b/c even if you got hit somehow and screwed up the timing, fish would still bite them and you could get back up. With the changes of the fish back to #R style fish (dont vanish on hit) this might be a less effective but viable lockdown. Can do attacks ground based or TK bubble IAD jp j2s jhs -> combos etc... This is a workable Oki until the japanese find something better.

    Finally watched some of the new vids. some quick things i noticed that other people may have mentioned. -Laser fish delay and forward movement seriously fucks up a lot of her setups off knockdown. I have seen people using p fish -> Hs fish. Not sure how this conversion works though so will have to watch more and try to see if you can get it consistent. It only seems to be decent from very far away. For up close I have seen Hs fish, Dash in attack (while they block attack) --> Laser Fish shoots. This keeps they locked down so you can continue to Rush down. These setups seem alright but it is still a step down from what she could do before. -Laser fish unblockables are still there but the added delay may give them a few more frames to block. -I havent seen any jpjpjhs. Does this no longer chain? They almost always opt for jpj2sjhs, or straight j2sjhs. I dont know if the dizzy players are being scrubby or if jpjhs isnt a legit combo anymore. When I saw person try this they got knocked out of the combo!!!! need to watch more to confirm. -Homing bubble allows for safe falls from very high on screen. EX: after super jumping if they are waiting below to rape you, throw out homing bubble. It falls straight faster than you do and can pop on the way down to be completely safe. This is actually seems really nice for running away which it looks like we will be doing a lot of. -people seem to be opting for j2s even when EXTREMELLY close in the air coming from above, which used to be when you would bust out a jk. since J2s can chain better it might be essentially a replacement for jk in that situation???? Or are those dizzys just being scrubby about that???? -S fish takes three days to activate and moves forward like a quarter to a half the screen before firing. Seems horrible for zoning people out of the sky because if you throw it on knockdown they will have enough time to wakeup IAD at you before the fish fires or it will fire in behind them. This renders this move pretty useless to me but maybe im being too harsh. -Throw 2k 5S -> icespike against ky seems to be techable now. -New j2s chains into 2p -> ETC... WTF??? Didnt hear it say counter so seems to be a legit combo. -Her fire super still trades with everything and her catch super can still be stopped by grabs and attacks. I was hoping they made these better but oh well. Will be interesting to see how things progress.

    San Diego has a great scene with some of the coolest guys you'll meet who play the game. I know cause i just left there. They all post on SRK mainly though. If you have an account there say hi. That is where purrin and most of SD crew hangs. Although it is good to check dustloop b/c some people dont like/have an SRK account.

    when you click the link to download and it says its not working, Look at your address bar. There should be two addys listed in there. Delete the first one and leave only the second one. Once i did that it downloaded fine for me. BTW- This dizzy vid is out of control.

  11. I dont know the technical terms to make this make sense but ill try. I know when a move prorates it affects damage after but does it also affect the dizzy caused by a move? Like if I have a move that dizzys characters after a couple hits but use it in a combo after a move that heavily prorates will I also be getting a highly prorated dizzy or is only the damage changed?
