Okay, where can I find the Bass tabs for Howling Moon, Weak Executioner and Gluttony Fang? Also... Can these songs be played on a 4-String Bass? And I can't open .zip files (I've seen these throughout this thread), so I'll need these either posted or as a text file please. Thanks in advance!

Well, every song is possible to play as long as you use the correct tune for the song, i.e. Gluttony Fang is possible to play like D-Standard Tuning (DGCF). And I don't understand why can't you open the files, they are working fine.

Emmm, any way to convert this tabs to partiture/sheet music (maybe a MIDI file)?
I'd love to see Jin's theme partiture, or any song actually.
I'm very slow at translating tabs :S, always played on partiture, guitar and piano (and others).

I always upload the Guitar Pro file (.gp5, version 5.2 compatible or later) and the .mid file, just click the tabs, download them and extract. You should do fine.

Well I'm sure it's POSSIBLE, just HARD. And I figure the best route to take, or best lazy route, would be to play two guitar parts: one playing one string and one the other. Like on that chord you mentioned, one would play the 9 and the other play the 12. Then they blend together...

Honestly I THOUGHT there were two guitars playing lead while listening to it, at least in the chorus, but I'm pretty sure my musical ear still needs work anyway. <_<;

well maybe you're right about the two guitar playing lead thingy...keep in mind that beast of fire is just a tabber..an awesome tabber but still not 1oo% accurate to daisuke's and yes i know what you're saying about the 9 and 12.....maybe its just me haha...i dun wanna learn the hard way, but yeah ill still try to do the fast shifting 2 string chords

Hello guys! Well, TemptingRose is right. Because there are some guitar lines that I made at the same track (like the solos, I blended the main & harmony guitars in one track), you may choose one of them to play 9 or 12 (if I did understand the discussion correctly, if not, I'm sorry, please enlighten me). In the case of Sword of Doom, one of the guitar pro tracks contains two guitar lines in one.

I will separate the tracks to avoid any further confusions and re-upload again, don't worry. I made the tab in kind of a hurry.

And since no one ever talked about this issue, I never cared to separate the tracks because I thought you guys were ok with that, but no problem at all!

Of course, the tabs might be not 100% accurate (including the patterns for playing), but it helps to players figure out the correct note and play at the position they feel most confortable. Actually I'm making these tabs to help people play and to serve as guidelines, there are things you may need adjust to your style of playing.

Any comments, suggestions are highly appreciated, always!

Sword of Doom is possibly my favorite song to come out of CS. Coming here to a tab of it is like waking up on Christmas day ;_;

... And then seeing it's for a 7 stringed guitar is like finding out Christmas was canceled ;o;

And as for Keep the Flag Flying, work as you please. I'd feel bad about having something I requested done before stuff requested earlier, but if it's closer to completion then do as you wish. I'm a patient person, I'm just happy you accepted it. ^^;

Don't Worry! You can still play the lead guitars (solos) without the 7th string. But the rhythm guitar is impossible to play without it.

Valkenhayn and Makoto's themes also use 7-string guitar for their rhythm sections.

I'm gonna start working on Marionette Purple soon, I think I might finish the Keep The Flag Flying first and the I'll go back to the queue!

I'll try to tab out the drums for any of those songs since I attempted to do Litchi's theme.

I updated the drums on it after taking a few hundred or so extra listens. Also after those listens there's what I believe to be a koto and a xylophone as well in the background.

OFF-TOPIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Well, I'm a member of a Anime Songs Band called ANIMADNESS, a band that is famous to play at anime events in Brazil. I'm the current bassist.

We made the opening song for a brazilian anime/manga called XDragoon, called 'Viagem Sem Volta', to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the manga. The lyrics are in Brazilian Portuguese, but we intend to record English and Japanese Versions of the song.

It is a heavy rock song, fast-paced and full of energy and I want to share this with you!

It is an independent joint effort between the band and the creator, Felipe Marcantonio, who did all the animations by himself!

Its been stated that Ragna the Bloodedge is merely a title of some sort, not his real name. In the story Jin even says "thats what you are called now right?".

With the info we gathered now, it is just a title. We will have to wait to see if Mori will shed light to the twins origins. At least to explain how Saya turned the way she is now.

The books and profiles got to a pretty great effort to say Jin and Ragna are REALLY brothers and that Saya is their REAL little sister. They're probably also not just random orphans, considering that they are raised by Nine's sister and watched over by Jubei, in a church that conceals the remains of the Black Beast.

After I read your statement, I must say I think they're the descendants of Bloodedge, the man who helped the heroes on the past. Just a guess...

I've finished my version of Under Heaven Destruction.

I've used the Dropped D Tuning for all guitars, and a D-Tuned 4-string bass okay?

I wrote some of the keyboards and the solo. The tapping part, I did not use any effect or delay to emulate the original song, please, may I ask you guys to figure it out?

I did a hybrid version, mixing elements of the AOU trailer version and the final song!

Not sure if any of you had come across it...

but to save the time of those tabbers that are putting forth the effort, I had already tabbed Lust Sin along with most of Bang's theme song around June or July last year XD

but anyways, you can use it to work with if you plan to transcribe it over to GP5 (I hate using tabbing software, good ol' notepad is all I need)
(I'd appreciate credit however if you do decide to use it as a reference :P)
let me know if you need the MIDI for lust SIN, it's basic to say the least - but most of the drumming is correct along with the piano intro (the rest of the song is a bit mucked up as far as the synths go give it a listen below and critique if you care to

I'm currently doing Tager's bass lines as well (standard tuning is just fine there *Beast of Fire, so long as you have a 5 string, it works well - which I believe you already mentioned that that was indeed what you were using

I was going to finish up road to hope as it's already halfway, but I got involved with playing the bass again with the tager theme so I hadn't bothered XD

The intro bothers me a bit with the gale theme, but its somewhat close - let me know if there are any corrections and I can update the tab and place your name in the header credits

Did a cover of Lust Sin as well in standard D tuning, if any of you care to check it out (I did it a step down on account of my string gauges... if I'd tuned them to standard E I'm afraid it would've probably warped my guitar neck XD I'm glad to finally have those bastards off and re-stringed it with a good ol' pair of slinkys... those thick gauges offered nothing but muddy tone...my pickups are bad enough with being too hot XD)

Sorry if I didn't post this earlier when I had finished the tabs... but I had problems registering on this site before, and just said the hell with it. a few months later I managed to get registered (I guess an admin has to approve???) but by then I had completely forgotten about the site lol

I'll take requests as well since the semester is finished, I'm still finishing up one class, but I'll have alot of time on my hands... I know a few users on other forums have been asking me for that road to hope tab for a good while now... so hopefully I'll find the initiative to finish it XD

I should know that more than anyone to go to a local shop and audition the instruments... but noooo, I had to be lazy and leave it to chance....

do you need just the bass tab? as I'm pretty much close to finishing it, I probably just need a few measures worth and the tab for that would be done, although I had planned to release with the guitar tab when i had finished it XD

EDIT: Bass tab is finished, maybe need to comb through the song just a bit more but otherwise it fits with the theme at least

although it isn't exactly true to the original, I have a weakness for picking out bass notes and chords XD leads etc are a piece of cake but my ear isn't quite as trained as I'd like it to be for the former lol - so some of it may sound like improv, but I feel comfortable with the intro so at least it's close XD

Are you capable of doing full piano arrangements? If it's possible, I want the sheet music for Lust SIN to be piano only so the whole song can be played by the piano alone and it would sound like Lust SIN. It's late at night and I'm afraid I'm not really coherent at the moment, but I hope you get what I'm saying. :8/:

If not, I'd be satisfied with the piano only appearing in the actual piano parts, like in Gluttony Fang, with other instruments. Once again, thank you very much for doing this.
