  1. well they've been getting the loctests out one after the other every week almost, so assuming this is the last test, there's no reason why they can't produce enough updated cabinets in another 3-4 weeks. (some one mentioned before that it's just a hard drive switch) Even if there's one final FINAL loctest, they could probably get it out to where they wanted before the 20th

    im pretty sure they absolutely do not want major crash bugs in a loketest. its a little more cut and dry than "oh just release the latest version" because there could be serious detrimental bugs that could detract from a test designed for balance purposes. if they are introducing a new feature/character that wasnt finished recently, then there are probably still really odd bugs they havent fixed.

  4. you cant replace a move in a combo and think itll work because: a) ac floors them, the b sledge followup pretty much keeps them floored (they can ground tech), throw -> b sledge keeps them aerial b) tech proration means that combos starting with throw generally cause people to tech later than if they were hit by atomic collider


  5. uhhh can't you also, collider>236B,5C,236A,2B,2C,collider...

    Also I do 6C->j.D, instead of 6D>5D because it leads to better setups.

    I haven't landed a random collider in a while with out meter/spark/magnetized oppenent

    on a magnetized oppenent I normally collider>6C>collider>6C>j.5D(I forget if this combos or if its just solid pressure).

    the only valid combo you posted is 6C j.D and it only works vs mid-large characters or magnetized small characters

    6a 2c collider b sledge RC 2c collider spark 2c collider does 3500 (huge damage nerf). (ps i think this is invalid combo...)

    2d rc 6a 2c collider sledge spark sledge does 2700 (again... overall damage nerfed)

    throws do exactly same damage.

    i think 2D now prorates by 80%, it used to be 100% (this is a damage scaling nerf).

    overall (from combos...) it seems like his damage was nerfed to about 50%-60% of what it was before outside of his throws.


  7. 2d->RC->6A->2C->Collider->B sledge-> A sledge-> RC->6C->Spark bolt-> 2C-> Collider for 7030 dmg, needs 100% heat

    haven't spent much time in the lab, but so far it works on jin, ragna, and nu.

  8. tager: nu - 2.5 - 7.5 (there is a single consistent way to beat nu and that is very very slowly get her near a corner and then guess when she tries to escape it) arakune 2 - 8 (you ahve to get lucky on clouds to win, and then out play him on top of this) rachel 3 - 7 (generally bad matchup but you can actually out play her and win) jin 3 - 7 (same as above, jins air options rape tager) carl - 1 - 9 (i legitimately do not think this matchup is winnable without divine intervention once you play a carl that can consistently play intelligently and nail clap loop 100% you literally get 2 chances to kill a character with far better mobility and you cant even fucking combo him or use spark bolt outside of a combo) tao 3.5 - 6.5 (obnoxiously hard matchup, you are never at an advantage in terms of speed and priority, and you both do about equal damage) litchi - 4 - 6 (shitty mid range fight with staff, once litchi loses her staff the tempo swings to being even) ragna 4 - 6 (DP and jC are really all ragna has over tager) noel 4 - 6 (solid options to beat tagers consistently, tager can out guess her though) bang 4 - 6 (crossups, if tager gets momentum he stands a strong chance of winning, also a matchup where IB -> 720 is actually a consistent option besides litchi and ragna) hakumen 4.5 - 5.5 (tager cant recklessly attempt to get it and hakumen can maintain mid range until he has mad orbs, but until then hakumen sucks and tager has advatnage close range once hakumen blows orbs) i formed this opinion from fighting top usa players
