    I'm not sure what that means, but sure why not. But hey, maybe I'm just an awful player that just can't compete with norcal now. Then again, majority of the original norcal BBers pretty much quit or don't play haha.

    Well, if it makes you guys feel any better, I lose to plenty of people who I feel are worse than me in terms of skill level. But I win with my Jin and other characters rather convincingly. Lol. I also like how a lot of times, IB doesn't really reward Tsubaki and you can't punish bad habits nearly as well as a lot of the cast. :D That being said, I think it's obvious that Tsubaki isn't as good as we all want her to be, and really, we should leave it at that. We don't really need to complain and have an uncomfortable atmosphere for all the people who are trying to have fun with her. If people want to have fun, go for it. I just don't do it anymore considering 1) I don't play nearly as much as I did before NCI, and 2) I've been playing her competitively since December last year, and I'm pretty sick of losing in random and scrubby ways. I mean if I get hit or fail a punish (due to hitboxes, etc) for doing the CORRECT thing for who knows how many times, I'm going to eventually crack :/

    My course throughout NCI = scrub, troll match vs taoftw and getting negative penalty for attacking (lol), a litchi, and a bang. You should become the norcal Tsubaki, I don't play, and I'm lazy lol.

    Ehhh tiers kinda matter if the game is really imbalanced and you play in a highly competitive offline environment haha. :D That being said, I like her DA/CA change, that actually helps a lot.

    I hate to give you guys bad news, but if Tsubaki still ends up being terrible to play competitively/seriously, I may just go back to my CT main - Jin. :/

    Do they mean 5B is considered air-unblockable (without barrier of course)? If that's so, that's a pretty big deal. 22C > 214D is possible but I don't know if it's better than 22D > 6C in the corner. We'll have to see about that. Also, I updated the combo thread. Merely because I only checked it due to forgetting my own combos..and realizing that I didn't put some stuff in....:Þ EDIT: I meant barrier, silence people!

    Thanks for making this post by the way. This pretty much summarizes all my thoughts on Tsubaki as a character today, and how I feel about her regarding CS2. Though I feel Mugen is good for damage in very specific cases, but it's so easy to just burst out of. Also anyone who knows what the combos look like can just burst at the parts where you can't block/bait it out. Even if you try to bait out the burst by not doing anything, you wasted charge + 50 meter haha.

    Well I would put down a list of changes, but I feel it's kinda pointless to do it until the final release lol. Anyways if 2C is jcable, and j.214D is an overhead...Hmmm I don't think that's bad, except j.214D is pretty gimmicky if you use it as a TK-ed overhead. Because if it gets blocked or read, well lol :D. Oh well, we'll see what happens by the final release. Any other changes that are notable?

    Actually you're wrong about that. The damage has been nerfed, but the properties and hitboxes remain unchanged for most of the normals. Since Tsubaki's normals usually lost vs other normals, she still has to spend most of the time blocking, and hoping people don't mash out of her pressure. The main difference here is that it'll take one or two more combos to win vs Tsubaki. That's it.

    Oh btw, the j.214X moves are techable before they hit the ground so...it's not a real knockdown hahaha. And this game has okizeme!? No wai! Also when you use a j.D in a combo, you have that post-landing recovery anyways so...have fun :D

    I would prefer if we do not have a compiled changes list until the final version of the arcade release is out. It'll make things a lot more convenient for the rest of us in the end. That being said, I approve of discussion along these lines.

    Process of conditioning with Tsubaki: Masher > stop mashing (gets hit by stuff) > realizes that mashing is better > Starts mashing again and never goes back to not mashing.
