    No he's saying that in past versions Nirvana didn't stop with fermata either. If Carl is hit after activating fermata that fist was still gonna hit someone in the jaw. Are you sure you've seen her stop?

    yeah you caught yourself cause I was gonna say that 2C is pretty crucial even in extend for some combos. But yeah. j.B FC was such a good hitconfirm. BTW who were you referring to in the beginning of your post?

    Yeah 2C isn't cutting it. Carl would have been absolutely ridiculous in CS2 and CSE if he still had j.B FC. It was sooo long ago. Back when life was better. I forgot about j.B like you guys.

    CS1 was basically: -Hide behind nirvana with her insane amount of health. -Spam j.B into 3k solo combo. (j.B was THE best fatal counter move in the game) -Do high damage resets into high damage combos. -Your opponent either died in 2-4 combos or they died always getting hit by nirvana. CS1 carl will always be the most fun to me. Extend Carl is the closest to CS1 carl I've seen so far so I'm pretty happy.

    The CS2 unblockable reset stuff was useful and great, but it just wasn't as fun as doing volante and 4D combos like we could all do in CS1. We can still do them in CS2 but her gauge nerf didn't really encourage. That was main reason why I wasn't too excited about CS2 Carl. He just wasn't as fun because the unblockable reset (though initially hard to learn) was sooo straight forward. Plus hitstun deterioration and stuff made long combos hard to pull off.

  14. Guys from what I've seen Carl players are able to handle the new 2D. There's no point in flipping out. Carl can still combo off of most 2D setups rather than can't.
  15. Wow watching Carl and Relius fight is the most exciting and epic thing ever. Mad hype. It looks pretty even to me right now.
  16. Carl looks like he's going to be fine. Haven't we all learned to stop being so pessimistic after every revision of Carl?

  21. Yeah the closest thing we have is Relius right now in terms of footage. His moves are so HUGE!!!
  22. yeah Carl better be interesting. I'll never drop him but that doesn't mean I won't be bitter if he is just like his CS2 version.

  24. I chose Carl because I'm well aware of Arc Sys track record with 2-in-1 characters. They end of pretty stupid. Liesolotte in Arcana Heart also helped prove this as well. I knew Carl would be stupid for whatever reason. Just wasn't quite sure how. *incoming throw loop in CT*
  25. I'm pretty sure there will be twice as many Relius users than Carl users.
