What makes you say Ky inherited Durandal exactly? What ACR illustration art are you referring to where it says "Junkyard Dog" on Order Sol's sword? Could Ky's custom rifle be the original Magnolia Eclair, and btw I'm from Montreal so I'm fairly familiar with french terms lol :p But thanks for that. I'm curious to know more about Bullet Heaven honestly.

Well, my first questions are about Junkyard Dog and the weapons of Ky and Sol, was that Order Sol's swords name? What was so special about Order Sol's sword exactly? What's so special about Junkyard Dog Mk. 3, which I believe is Sol's sword now in Xrd correct? What's Bullet Heaven? Any interesting info on Ky's new sword Magnolia Eclair II, what happened to his Overture sword, Aquila?

He's usually decent in each iteration, which isn't a bad thing. Why would you say meter management is going to be a bigger deal this time around? But yes, I've always made use of GS crossup and js as part of my oki. So losing those tools will hurt Ky's oki game a lot. Yeah, I have to agree with Ain and yourself about toning down the damage though, especially since Hellfire Mode just buffs everyone damage and adds nothing to damage reduction while being in it. I'm really liking the mind games and uses of Grinders as well as Split Ciel for both comboing and pressure along with the new 3hs. What does 3hs do on hit btw, does it cause float, a strike, or a knockdown effect? Glad to hear Machaboo is playing it and thinks it's fun. What are your thoughts on BS then?

What are your thoughts on Xrd Ky? Have you seen anything from Ain/Machaboo/Rozu/Hayashi's impressions on the game and Ky as well? Kinda curious and hype with the changes they made to him.

Yeah it sucked Ky only had one mission, but that one mission and the fact that he WAS actually in the game and he had a fucking swagged out royal king cape made me buy the game. I just checked and I played mission 13 (where he has to protect Dizzy/his kingdom from Valentine's invasion) 50 times just in hard mode lol. And Yeah I suck at strategy games but I liked some of their ideas for Overture, overall it was poorly implemented/marketed. Glad to see a strong GG fan who also plays competitively like myself.

Oh btw, I'm surprised you bought AND played Overture as well. Looks like I have a fellow hardcore GG fan here.

Yeah i have a bad habit of doing that, BR is like the bane of my existence on defense. Me jumping like that is trying to catch an air grab/jk>combo>grabbing you out of BB. My friend has often caught me with the same thing. Yeah with regards what you just said and the advice you gave me about WT, I really take it to heart and apply it. You're very good at breaking down how to avoid things, when to avoid it, and if possible; how to punish it. You didn't get the title of Mod for nothing, I noticed you started to VV more but you do it so sporadically it actually gives me a hard time when it comes to punishing it or baiting it. Which is really good because reversal dps don't usually give me a hard time either in BB or GG. I'd like to give you advice myself but I got nothing that would be of benefit to you lol.

Anyways those were some AWESOME matches, nothing like always being on edge the entire match, and trying to avoid making even the slightest mistake because that could be the end of the round. You LITERALLY play like 012 lol, you hitconfirm is disgusting it made you that much scarier each round because I could see how you can combo off almost any random attack. My skills have gone up significantly thanks to you and my other friend who plays Sol. Both of you guys made me realize I need to improve on reading my opponents better and not just playing the matchup. But wow you're ability to read me is insane. But I can see my improvement, and I need to work on my FRC's significantly. Them 66>gunflame-FRC baits really gave me a hard time towards the end lol.

Honestly Kliff is a character I'm not looking forward to seeing in Xrd, his wonky attack hitboxes and his wonky hurtbox make him a very different type of character to deal with. As a Ky player maintaining pressure and getting good oki on him can be difficult. Keeping him out is not so hard, you just have to be mindful of full screen supers, FB's, and his sword flip/somersault is all. Fafnir not being viable at certain ranges must really kill Sol's already somewhat lack luster poking abilities I can imagine. Because Kliff has much better ways of keeping Sol out and getting in on him. His fake out and FB fake out really strengthens his oki and his ability to get out fo it as well. But FD'ing his pressure int eh corner is the sure fire way of getting out.

So how did you find the Kliff matchup? He feels like a mixture of AC Slayer's explosive damage, and Ky's poking/range game. What are your thoughts, it looks more uphill for Sol than Ky, since Sol has to get in close and personal on him.

I know you're really good at this sort of thing and I've been dying to know what he says to the cast, though I already have an idea. I'd like to know precisely. Thanks
