She is much easier to play on stick, assuming you have the practice with a stick (I had/stillsometimesatrandomhave troubles with DP on stick while I could do it fine on pad, which everyone has told me is weird) but for the most part it's going to be significantly easier and faster to learn her on stick, there is absolutely no reason you can't do her stuff on pad, you may have to tinker with things to do it right, but it's doable. For BBCT (on xbox) I went x=a y=b b=c a=d rb=a+b rt=b+c lb = a+b+c lt= a+b+c+d) and it worked out. But when I started picking up friend's sticks and playing, once I got used to inputting the combos on sticks I saw how much easier and more consistent sticks are with her combos. Just be patient and sometimes (especially with the 360 controllers) it's not always YOUR fault the combos don't work, you might have to adjust the motions a bit to work with pad and not get different inputs.

I really hope this is sarcasm. xD

Well for the most part from what I can see we're having the exact same reaction to this as we did to the CS loketest... (OHGAWDTSUBAMEDOESN'TCOMBOANYMORE ) I'm slightly scared that litchi will change from 'carry to corner, oki in corner, try to keep them in corner'... that really was what drew me to the character in CT and had me keep playing.. but yes heartnana, nerfs to the current cs litchi are entirely warranted, and they won't stop me from playing litchi as my main (really heavy nerfs may have me spend some more time with secondary characters...). I would just like to have LITCHI back.. not another character with litchi's model... cuz if they make her into like... I dunno.. full rushdown like your noel is.. she wouldn't be litchi anymore and I would feel entirely justified in switching characters.

[CT-CS1] Whoa. HUGE. (Litchi Basics Thread - New Players Start Here - UPDATED for CS)

It does return faster, but not in a way that you would really notice unless you're not doing it. You won't really 'see' much in it, but should you do certain things (i.e. airdash/move quickly) the staff while you barrier return will be on you and you will be in mantenbou state, however if you don't it will still be following you and you'll be staffless. It's difficult to notice much but it does help quite a bit and is the only way some combos are possible iirc. -
At first I figured he'd learned from CT and made this thread entirely to soak up much of the retarded so that he could just ignore it... but then he started replying again.

Just as a random nitpick from yesteryear... IAD input is 956, you have to go to neutral. Think of it like a dp input.. just higher up. Tsubame is still useful.. it's just not the 'omg I'm not sure what else I can do.... throw out tsubame' move anymore.. and you can't use it IN combos (but you can combo off of a CH tsubame still)... so there shouldn't really be any problems, as you would only be using tsubame to react to pressure anyway and should be getting a CH every time you use it anyway, and you'll just be learning new combos that don't have tsubame in it.. which isn't a huge deal since these combos DO MORE DAMAGE than the combos from the last game. Suck it up and stop whining.

Aye, as far as their lingo goes... lowercase jc would be jumpcancel... since JBC is j.BC... so lowercase = jump cancel and upper case equals air move. -
That's what I meant, my mistake, long weekend.

As far as midscreen goes, if you can get it down, dash 5c is even better than 2c, and 2c is fairly interchangeable with the 6c.

It was nerfed in CS, but Dahlia was specifically asking about CT. Totally forgot to reedit this. But yes as far as I know/can see FRC is right and it's just special cancellable. -
Poke with 2b[m] instead? Or itsuuC. You have options.

It's just you, that trap works for nu, but if you can't get it to work for a forward tech go back to the 6C Tsubame 6C 3C trap, or even take out the 3C and trap forward tech by just straight D after that second 6c.
