  1. I have heard that 'That Man' has three servants working under him from around the forums and as suggested in one of Sol Badguy's endings in Guilty Gear X. I know of I-no and Raven, but who is the third? Was he mentioned at all or is he (she?) still some shadowy figure?
  2. Understandable. I can only blame myself in that I got lost in my writing like I always do and somehow diverge from fact into opinion. My apologies on that one.
  3. It's fact then. Okay, just wanted that cleared up. It seemed so convincing though with all things considered, but I can't argue with facts. Thanks for the info.
  4. I agree with you there on GGXAE and the Petit series. GGXAE is basically GGX+ retold. Though I happen to like Fanny as a character, the Petit series did not have a story mode and did not add anything to the story because of it. Maybe Daisuke will find it within his benefit to reintroduce Fanny - be it something interesting for the story or financial gain - but I'm doubtful. I mean, it has been confirmed more GG and GG2 games are on the way, but the jury is still out on what will come of it. I agree on Isuka and GG: Rise of Arms as well. There was no story mode in Isuka and the only thing that could count as close to it - the Boost Mode - is just you side-scrolling fighting a gang of thugs, random characters, and Leopaldon. I was more than convinced that Leopaldon was a Gear the first time I saw him, but since there is no story Isuka just seemed to me an exercise in group GG fighting with extras. Basically, Isuka's Boost Mode and Leopaldon to me have no influence on the story and are both just part of a drawn out Survival Mode. GG: Rise of Arms was just GG1 retold. Dust Strikers and Judgment I'm still skeptical on. Though you are correct in that there really isn't any exact time given for these events (We can assume, though, that it was around 2181 and I'm more than willing to accept that) there were story modes for both of them. I did not play Dust Strikers, which is the only GG game besides Overture that I haven't played yet, so I cannot speak on behalf of its canon until I play it. Judgment, however, did have a story and character connections. I would like to believe Judgment has canon and is just a side story that takes place after GGXX.

    Guilty Gear Stories (spoilers abound!)

I like how your setting things up, Blade. I was going to jump on that myself, but I was doing some further investigations (i.e. where the GGXtra manga takes place. It's obvious, but I have to get off my lazy butt and read it). Aside from that one, my only confusion now is if GG: Dust Strikers and GG: Judgment are canon and where they are placed.

    Guilty Gear Stories (spoilers abound!)

I meant no offense mind you. I'm still trying to piece the whole story together myself without submitting to rumors and fan speculations. But, your data does add significance. That would mean that the time line would go like this: Gear Project, Crusades (GGXX Drama CD's Blk/Rd), NoK, GG:ML (GG1), LtA, Drama CD GGX, GGX:BYS, GGXX:MC [Part 1+2 divided up], and then BAHG. It all makes a lot of sense now, if Chipp is indeed working with Potemkin while he's with the U.S. President there.

Thanks for the directing. It seems to be in the same place that I've put it at for awhile now, but I'm not certain whether the year is right or not (even the guy who posted it said he didn't know much). What concerns me is, since GGXXAC+ gave us an extension in the XX story (or a Part 2), and if TBAHG takes place after the events, then it could not have been that long of time. I'm starting to believe that TBAHG is smack-dab in the middle of GGXX and GGXXAC+ (Both parts 1 and 2 of the story respectively). I guess it should be there, but this one is a GG Stories thread, so I'm not that far off.

    Guilty Gear Stories (spoilers abound!)

Are Guilty Gear: Judgment and Guilty Gear: Dust Strikers considered canon since they had a storyline? If so, where would they be placed in the timeline continuum (Before or in-between GGXX and GGXX Accent Core+)? Where is 'The Butterfly and Her Gale' placed in the timeline continuum (Before or in-between GGXX and GGXX Accent Core+)? Who is That Man's third servant? Is he known or is he still some shadowy figure? So far I only know of I-no and Raven. One last topic that's been confusing: do the stories in GGXX and GGXXAC+ happen in sequence after the other, or do they occur at different times (i.e. GGXX is part 1, then something else if TBAHG fits here, and then GGXXAC+ is part 2)?

    Guilty Gear Stories (spoilers abound!)

Hey everyone, here's my first post I'm planning on putting up a topic listing the entire Guilty Gear time line based on continuous research. Thus far I seem to have everything down pat except for the placement of the Night of Knives. Since information on that appears to be scarce - aside from Blade's contribution in the previous posts - I'm confused as to whether the Night of Knives is centered around Zato-1/Millia/Venom or centered around what I call the "Chaotic Time Line" (there already a name for it?) where Ky Kiske died during the Holy War/Crusades, Sol took over the Holy Order, Justice Died, Dizzy took over, etc. that resulted in I-no going back in time and saving Ky Kiske and creating the present Guilty Gear time line? I'm leaning more towards the Night of Knives being a Zato-1/Millia centered story before GG:ML but I would like confirmation. Also, if my assumption is correct, then where does the story of I-no going back in time to save Ky Kiske take place in? Would anyone be able to clear this up for me? Despite all my work, I'm left like this at the moment when it comes to figuring out those two parts. Main: :KY: Secondary: (...I play too much...)
