Tools no. Normals yes. Millia has superior normals, Ino has superior mixup. Hair pin is great, so is Note (which forces movement and gives you control of the neutral game), STBT & VCL in this matchup. In Xrd, this translates to the Ino player playing harder in neutral then going HAM once they get a knockdown. By "bias", I mean your 'feeling' that it is a hard matchup for Ino. Which it is not. Thing with matchup discussions is that there is a lot of speculation when ppl who have been playing the longest (Jp players) could simply be asked how they feel via Twitter. Ppl will translate for you I'm sure. We haven't seen an official matchup chart yet, but once we do the floodgates will open. But so far, from my experience playing the shitload of high level Millia in the northeast, and from talking to Jp players including Satou and playing him at NEC, the consensus is that this match is as 5-5 as it gets, and the gameplan hasn't really changed since +R. There are plenty of JP matches between the 2 characters, including mine, so you can def see how the matches swing pretty evenly.

The matchup is purely 5-5, don't account personal experience or bias into it. Not difficult nor a struggle at all. Solid neutral and spacing will give you the opportunity you need to pin her down.
  10. First off, the Chemical Lovers team returns to the fray with Episode 3 of Xrd Notes. Focusing on I-no, the video serves as a primer for those curious about the character and looking to try her out in this iteration. Normals, Specials, and some advanced techniques are discussed briefly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8S_lo_7xRGA&index=1&list=PLXSEVqlJkrKe2xUssIjykKwSR-9t1mUDW Coming in next is the "GG Xrd Basic I-no Tutorial" by Diarmuid aka Doonpa: An extensive breakdown of many aspects of the character. Bring out the snacks for this one because it clocks in at over 90 mins, covers mostly everything you need to know to get yourself started with the character, as well as some theory talk at the end. Graciously, time stamps are provided for each sub-section of the tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipek0i0O5mk Lastly, we have the "Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- I-no Basic Tutorial" by f_swipes: A quick rundown of some normals and specials for I-no. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8OsR1-jjtA

So I let the Japanese I-no players know about j.D FDC tech with BURST stocked. Who is the original person who discovered this so I can give credit? https://twitter.com/mynusdono/status/555753712824909825 https://twitter.com/mynusdono/status/555753875731677184 https://twitter.com/mynusdono/status/555753957541568512

Ranked could be cool. GG's to the ppl I played. To all the ppl who dodge constantly: stay free. Your scrubiness will never improve.
  13. Yes. On PS4 trying to join rooms in lobbies. Is extremely annoying.

After more tests - yes l, you can definitely still use the hold tech to crossup, you just need to change your timing of the j.D in order to do so. If you have burst and can get the timing due to the tighter window down, then go for it. Having 2 different timings to practice FDC for is worth it. The macro idea is genius. Will map it to my stick and try it out. We Marvel players now? Also Bob, I hope you practice FDC and get it down consistently, your offense will def thank you, as will your win rate.

Not serious? Lol. If you can open people up with I-no, you can land an intentional gold Burst. Ppl will literally throw themselves at your Burst more often than you know.

Honestly, that Hold button FDC tech is not as versatile as the original. Because the j.D~4 has to be done as fast as possible, you cannot delay slightly like you can with j.D~FD to change your height. You have to delay the j.D (not the FD to do so, which means your not holding 4 to block in case someone Bursts or mashes something on wakeup. Doing hoverdash dj.FDC crossup or sj.FDC crossup on wakeup is also womp womp since you do not get enough height. In block strings maybe, but as of now with my testing it cannot be applied in as many situations as j.D~FD can. More importantly, the window to actually cancel your j.D when holding FD is smaller for some unexplained reason. The j.D~4 part has to be done insanely quickly, hence why instant j.D FDC using this method becomes limited by the mixups you can actually apply it to/setups. For something so easy in theory I have no idea why it is actually harder to execute. I will keep testing, but for now Gold Burst>"Let's Go Crazy!" has me destroying people. Let me know if anyone has noticed this or is having an issue applying it to actual gameplay.
  17. Alioune sets a disclaimer in the video title generally detailing how hard/easy the unblockable setups are depending on the hitbox/weight class of the opponent. Guilty Gear is historically a very character-specific combo game, and this technology is no different. Not only is this information useful for Elphelt players looking to strike fear into and decimate their opponents life bar in the corner, but is also extremely useful for players of other characters to get a feel for what the the specific unblockable setup would be on their character, and offers a chance for the anti-tech to be discovered if possible. That being said, watch these videos, get grinding in the lab (Elphelt and non-El players alike), and break down/further develop this tech! https://twitter.com/koichinko/status/547415531179880448 Koichi will be playing I-no soon. Seems he had an epiphany in how to properly beast with her. Ogawa calls him out for some matches right after. I also told him I'm looking forward to seeing him use her after all this time! Edit: seems his Twitter is set to private so if you want to read be sure to follow him @koichinko

Some use as a crossup alternative to iad FF VCL YRC. if you have alot of time on oki it can sometimes be even more ambiguous. I've noted before but you can transition to the vertical hoverdash by inputting (63) rather than (663) to gain height alot faster.

You realize she says the exact same thing in Japanese right? (excluding the Merry Christmas bit). Now you know how the Japanese have felt for all of these years. On STBT, she actually says in JP "Don't stand up!" lol. A character could actually yell out "Overhead!" and ppl would still get hit hahaha.

What are these lies? Lol pad I-no in AC/+R you would need to be a Demi-God to play at a high level. I have never played on pad, -stick all the way. I'm from NYC Chinatown fair, all I know is arcade man. If you played i-no on pad, you sir are a warrior.

That blue one is super sexy, but I will most likely be rocking the Black & Red as I always do in almost every game I play for stream and tourney play. Glad the homie U-zen is sporting the black as well. Pretty sure Zidane will try to convince me to pick the pink colour as much as possible in casuals tho lol.

Do you have a link for this happening? I've seen it before but want to use it for the Xrd I-no Guilty Bits episode. Of course you can FDC during a blockstring. What are you confused about exactly? Hasegawa is super boring imo, Though I do like OSCA's playstyle in Xrd rather than +R. Actually I liked Hasegawa's +R playstyle more (played under tokoino). Turio is still trying to find his footing with I-no in this game and his win rate is hovering around 50%, but hands down U-zen is my favorite right now. He is totally my style/who my play resembles the most.
