I might be slowpokin' here, but was it mentioned that Noel hasn't actually lost her old 5C, rather, it's now an extension from the new 5C - so assuming her 5C is like Rachels (?)? EDIT: Looks as though her old 5C is her new 5D. So disregard.

5D is very, very risky - you really do have to know how to use it against moves like 5D and the like otherwise there is no guarantee you'll hit her. And yeah, you have to be kinda careful about her 2C on the ground as well because it has good close ground horizontal range for an AA attack...and on CH it leads to launch...BOOOOO

5DD>4DD>j2DD>214D is better.

And you know that's the absolute truth. Manz are gonna come back with the same knowledge they left with (school education wise :p).
