  1. I predict maybe Raven or possibly Tuner besides whomever gets elected. Dizzy and Baiken have legit reasons to be in the story, so even if they don't win, it's only a matter of time, maybe not Revelator, but soon. Bridget probably as well. Poll should be over by now but the results should come out on Thursday of this week.
  2. I dunno guys. I got a hunch whomever gets elected is only the tip of the iceberg. Console Roster isn't released yet. Sin, Elphelt, and Leo didn't show up until the game (Xrd Sign) came out on console, and Bedman and Ramlethal had LONNNNNG since been introduced for Arcades.
  3. If you can think of anything else that catches IAD'ers and jump-ins besides Bedman's 6P, I'm all ears.
  4. Well we can't ALL have what we want. (Is glad more people are voting for HOS and Dizzy than Bridget for once...)
  5. For a minute you made me think of Slash Order-Sol. A Slash-based character while everybody else is based on #Reload? Hmm, interesting, but I hope that doesn't fully happen for the simple reason that his input timing for Dragon Install was a lot harder in Slash (not to mention his charge system was more brutal in terms of gains, HCB+D to charge up? No thanks.). Also he had better normals (far Slash) in Accent Core. Assuming you meant Demo video "Sol Fakeguy", that would be funny if they put him in as a training dummy if nothing else. And like you said, it ain't over until the Fat Burger Sheriff sings! So if you can vote, DO SO. Though, regardless, I hope there will be more elections after this one.
  6. To be fair, Zato/Eddie being resurrected was a "test" to eventually revive Justice herself (which in concept makes more sense in the plot, since everyone's been trying to control Justice from day one). Reviving Kliff would just be redundant and probably silly. And given what happened to Zato having his emotions wiped, I don't think I'd like a 'blank slate' Kliff. And, let's not forget the chaos that was Mortal Kombat X... they killed off nearly every character in that story.
  7. Honestly I don't care if no one votes for Justice, she's going to be the final boss anyway. Kliff is dead, so yeah no logic for him coming back unless he's young again or a ghost. And even if a "waifu" wins this as a fan backlash to Order-Sol getting lots of votes halfway, they could always hold ANOTHER election.
  8. To be honest, I'd hardly call Bedman's 6P an 'anti-air'... his close-range slash often works better, or even Task C, lol
  9. I know that "now", but that's not something you pick up necessarily if you only messed with Dizzy in GGX and GGXX. I didn't know Negative Edge existed until Isuka I think. I'm sure there's plenty of secrets and stuff only players who main a specific character would "know" about that character that nobody else would know.
  10. My question is this: How would someone like Bedman capitalize on this? Bedman can use meter to summon Hemi-Jack (Sheep Nightmare Ghost) and stun or almost-stun someone instantly. If Damage scaling resets as soon as they are hit with Jack Sheep, what can he do to make the most of that after spending meter (assuming they didn't spend their Burst in retaliation and had no full Burst gauge)?
  11. Hire these guys as mods and get them on the research team, lol But seriously, I think we need more people who know what they're talking about on these forums writing tips and guides and such. I mean yeah, we get some occasionally, but seems like it's few and far between. Like, years ago, I saw a really GOOD guide for Dizzy that covered a bunch of stuff about her I never even knew existed (like negative edging her floating spear thingie).
  12. Bolded for emphasis... now if only we could get more "experts" to draw out the potential of other characters in the roster. I have to be honest, no one uses Bedman very often that I see, or if they do it's only a small number... to say nothing of the small clique of Justice players in ACPlusR, much less anyone else. I truly wish other characters got the loving touch of a good player.
  13. The Official Webpage got updated, so I was able to glean some goodies from it.
  14. What's that make Jack-O' then? She doesn't wear a hat yet she has Valentine moves... Valentines are probably "imperfect copies" of Justice swapped with human DNA, given the whole Variable X "Gear Cell Replication" incident that happened in 2074 when "That Man" vaporized Japan over a pair of giant unknown lifeforms. The idea they were looking to obtain whatever was inside the Cube in GG2 establishes the notion they wanted to be closer to Gears based on how the Gearmaker designed Justice, which is why he calls them "Illegitimate Children" of a Merciless Apocalypse [Jihi naku Keiji]. Just because Japan roves Engrish doesn't make it light. (And don't get me started on WAVANGERION merchandise)

Pachi Comments on GGXrd Character Election

Just too bad they only made characters that were "previously playable" as possible entries. I'd love to see Tyr, Mizuha, Geena, Leon Mining, and maybe a few others playable.
  16. It's not technically a retcon either. "Giant Justice" was fought during the Crusades (imagine Kliff Undersn or Order Sol or even Ky taking her on... amazing to think about). When we finally "Meet Again" in Missing Link, she's in a weakened "incomplete" state (which is why she's Human-sized). The U.N. confirms she was in this state at the end of the tournament when Sol killed her (this is the same Justice in all incarnations of Accent Core, Slash, GGXPlus, etc. that we fight in-game, so she never technically 'changed' from her "Missing Link" appearance, even Crow Kuruwaba's "Justice Copy" is based on combat data from this form she took). The next time she's seen, she's inside the Cradle in a subdued incorporal state... I assume her body mass was converted in to this form in order to facilitate projecting her powers outward until she could be reactivated. Then, when they get the chance, they cause the Cradle to revert back to Justice' "Original Body". Anyway, hope that explains it. And yes, there were prototypes before Justice (after Sol was created).
  17. And I've been trying to TELL PEOPLE who don't follow the story that this is WRONG. GGXrd's Library even outright says it. Justice was a "copy" of Aria. That's not the same thing as being Aria herself. @Tokkan do you know if Pachi ever talks about other GG characters not mentioned in the election list? Like say Solaria, Tyr, Mizuha, or (dare I say it) Leopaldon?
  18. Sweet they fixed the typos. I was waiting for them to fix winquotes as Slayer would "say" one thing and what was written was something else.
  19. I wouldn't blame Aksys for that if I were you. ARCSys does most of their localization in-house last I heard. They only consult with Aksys on a few things to make sure terms and other stuff sync up with older stuff like what Aksys did with terms from GG2 Overture. There's still some inconsistencies, but they're working on that. I'd go in to details but it's a translation thing, so just appreciate that they're trying to be consistent with all U.S. incarnations of Guilty Gear. Edit: That goes for BlazBlue as well, Aksys is lobbying to get more consistency out of all of ARC's games, so they're willing to cooperate whenever they can (not that I'm an Aksys rep or anything, they just told me when I asked).
  20. While this is true, don't forget that NETPLAY = PS+ = $$, so yeah, Netplay might as well be Money matches on the PS4. Those of us who live off netplay for our bread and butter in the isolated regions of the world probably don't want to pay much for such things. That, and there's a ton of PS3 exclusives out there besides GGXrd that people "still" play online (I just bought Arcana Heart 3 Love Max and Battle Fantasia for example, to say nothing of upcoming Central Fiction). Anyways, enough about that... Jam is still looking scary... how is her backdash and 2S hitbox looking? Does 2S punish everything like it used to?
  21. Yeahp, no one's gonna talk about Jam's prostate. :jam: "The restaurant is full!"
  22. Alright, seeing as how I'm still on the PS3 with Xrd, let me just say this: I don't mind crayon graphics in HD, I don't mind scratchy low quality audio, and I don't mind frame lag. I put up with it because I like the idea of playing Guilty Gear AND BlazBlue on ONE console, and I put up with it because I like free netplay (who doesn't?). Having reasons for playing it on last gen doesn't mean you're in the wrong for not playing next gen PS4 bleeding edge stuff. Get off the high horse and let people enjoy the game for what console it's available for. If GGXrd gets a PSV port, I wouldn't mind playing that either. If I get a PS4 it's not going to be because of last gen games, it's going to be because of next gen games, pure and simple. Graphics and frame lag is just what nitpickers worry about... a game is still fun even without those bells and whistles.
  23. Normally when I think of Loketests I think of a ton of changes and stuff that needs to be tested... adding one new character doesn't seem like enough to warrant a test, two or more maybe, but one? I mean, even with a boss character like Ramlethal, it would take a while before they normally would balance her out, right? Unless this is still about the BB community going ballistic over Kokonoe... Ahhh... well, nevermind.
  24. It's unfortunate that they haven't been as 'home port' minded lately. Hopefully that will change when the roster 'stops' growing. So the game's already out but they're still holding another Loketest? Why even call it that?
  25. Keep in mind that M.O.M. is mostly for Arcade goers to feed credits in to, so it wasn't built for consoles very much, just adapted to them somewhat. I do hope it does get tweaked though, or gets Gold characters or something. Also, about Jam's parry, I hope it's not something crazy good, because she's already got a ton of tools like her backdash last I checked.
