I just thought it would be nice if you guys took some notes on the match up. n.n Why thank you.

6A doesn't combo, slow start up, slow cool down, you can get punished even if it lands (on a grounded opponent), and even on some technicality that you can combo from it, it wouldn't be as rewarding as some of his more mainstream combos.

So there exist scenarios where the Astral Heat is the best option? Seriously, with the opponent at 20% HP, you'd think there'd be other go to methods that are easier and nowhere near as gimmicky. -
Remember guys, 6C to Moonsong works.
-
6D is super laggy, and the computer will tech out on higher difficulties. It might work on human players however. Try 5D instead.
-
The cat chair is more of a "gtfo" move than it is a combo starter.

I'm not trolling -- that act of deliberately upsetting others. I'm telling it straight up and if you take offense to it, that's your fault. I'll leave, but in all honesty, if it's already been decided that V-13 has a ridiculously easy time with Tager, akin to facing Meta Knight as Captain Falcon. Pick someone else.
-
I know enough that Tager can't beat her. In that case, pick a more capable character. V-13 has no bad match ups, but she has even match ups, and Tager's not one of them. Answer my question instead of dodging it to soft flame me. Would it be smarter to pick a character who stands a better chance, or stick with Tager who you swear can barely manage at all?
-
Counterpicks in terms of character advantage plays a huge role in match ups, it's just downplayed in several other fighting games. It's entirely legitimate to select a different character, because your current character is at a far disadvantage. It's not so much a system as it is common sense developed into a system. Would you rather pick up a character who fares a better chance in this particular match up, or stick with Tager and try to overcome highly improbable odds? Wouldn't it make better sense to decide on the former?

Happens all the time in competitive games. Or at least smash bros.

What's so wrong with having a back up character?
-
I didn't say give him up, just have a pocket character/secondary to cover his worst matches.
-
Aggressive, non nooby Jins > Rachel Put up a defense, punish his laggy specials, especially aerials. Frog.
-
Sucks really. Glad I don't play Tager. All else fails, pick a more capable character.
-
The difference between my two points was. scenario a) Tager player Fires lightning ball out randomly/spontaneously. scenario b) Tager player waits for an opportunity to fire a sure hit. In BB, spontaneous attacks can help quite a bit, someone told me that Jin's Ice Car was softbanned in Japan, because it can effectively be used spontaneously or "too abusive" by their words. Just trying to help, I don't play Tager, but my friend does and a random Lightning Ball is the bane of my fear of him.

It took me like 5 minutes to realize that AH stood for Astral Finish ("H"????). Astral finish is functionally useless. -
Wow, you sure put a lot of faith in the V-13 player never fucking up. Shit, if that's how you wanna do it, pick a more capable character. Easy.
-
You have a point then. Still worth a shot, unless you wanna wait for a sure opportunity, better to use it and get lucky than hope for a far less likely chance of a guaranteed hit.
-
Then the lightning ball has an assload of stun in it. So it's not safe on block then. She's either "D"ing it up or guarding in preparation. Unless her attacks cool down that fast, she can't do both and not get hit with it. Take a gander.
-
Do it while she's D spamming. The move eats through projectiles, is extremely fast, is made for Tager Rape and gets rid of all the "getting close" issues. Even on block, the magnet's on her anyway. Pull that ass in.
-
Is it really that difficult? It takes like 2 combos to do her in. Lightning Ball, then rape.
-
Mindgames. I need to do more low moves, I was all in "wtf mode" when I learned that 2a is a medium attack.
