Hey guys! Here's one hell of a spectacle held last weekend (and I'm such an idiot for missing out on it because I went the following day when a different set of events took place). The same girl cosplaying Noel Vermillion I posted above plus 2 of her friends (as Ragna and Mu) doing a full fledged Blazblue skit - In fact they're reenacting that part of Continuum Shift's TRUE END:

Yep that Bridget's a girl. Anyway another 'con, and I ran into good 'ol Noel again (and this time she and I are new friends)

Hi there. Just got back from another Anime Con (the Ozine Festival 2011). As usual bumped into more cosplayers, and this time I met someone special  Oh and something extra:
-
Hi all. Just came from another Anime Con, so obviously there was more cosplaying. This time I've got some real goodies: And here's a bonus for the GG fans: Perhaps I should have taken a video of the latter (an oversight ) - the eyes on the faces above the wings were actually blinking (as in they had blinking lights in them).
-
Somehow he reminds me of Kamen Rider Black. EDIT: Just came from another Anime Con, which of course meant more cosplaying. Snapped up a rather huge number of photos, but this one would be significant here:

You call that lazy coloring? That looks GREAT!

Hi guys! I couldn't find the Guilty Gear Cosplay thread, so I'm posting this one here if it's okay. I just came from the ComicCon 2010 here in the Philippines, and naturally one of the events is the Cosplay competition. It so happens I bumped into her: Too bad no one did any Blazblue characters in that convention.

Just came from a Cosplay event today (The O-Zine Festival 2010, SM Megamall, Philippines), and these caught me by surprise: First I found Taokaka while roaming around the place (there were in fact TWO of them) Then during the "catwalk" (the actual cosplay competition), out came Noel, Litchi, and... MAKOTO! (minus the tail) Picture is after they were finished with their walk in the spotlight (in fact they were probably on their way out for a break, but after I asked for a picture from them after which they gladly complied, hordes of other photographers joined in!).

http://www2.webng.com/mugenrevolution/stages.html You can get Orient Town, Kagutsushi Cathedral, and Kagutsushi Port. Though when I installed them on my copy of WinMugen, I disabled vertical scrolling because for some reason it was making me dizzy :P.

Would be great if we can start seeing some BB chars finally imported into Mugen. As of late though I can only make do with BB inspired backgrounds. I used one here: (Orient Town, complete with the Oriental Flower OST) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99QE4yF5aeI

While not exactly "fanart" (so dunno if this is the place for it), but something I tried during my spare time with Soul Calibur 4. Now if only SC4 had a weapon that even comes close to looking like a huge anchor. -
Is there a full body shot of that Litchi Cosplayer? That would be really great. Also, Noel here has a really nice back (makes you wanna give her a backrub)

I've started using my arcade stick this weekend and went into a bit of training with Litchi. Thanks to the stick I can perform more command moves easily (particularly 623D and 632146D, almost in a snap), so I don't have to rely on that right thumbstick (and hence be able to execute Distortion Drives in Ranked Matches). Just wondering though, something I've been testing is this: right after a ground throw I do a 623D[m] (aka Tsubame Gaishi), and it looks like a nice combo start, in fact at the moment 623D[m] is so far the only attack I can do very quickly after a throw that can really land a hit (somehow even simple A/B/C attacks don't connect - the opponent gets flung too far for them to connect and I have to pursue or wait for him to come down). Is this advisable or actually something I should be careful with? -
Just did a test game just for fun on my copy of WinMugen after downloading a recently made Level pack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99QE4yF5aeI Watch Mode, Team Game/Simulataneous, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Venus VS Wolverine and Spiderman Level/Arena: prototype Orient Town level, downloaded from here http://mugenrevolution.webng.com/stages.html (though I made a few changes, like removing the Verticalfollow and associating the track "Oriental Flower" to the level as its default BGM).
