Her 2C having head invuln will be nice. Her oki is good, but it's not really what I'm talking about for online play affecting her. (I get it, every character is effected by online, I'm not saying it's just Lambda). Like I said, I'm very rusty, and I have my share of problems. I do mix it up but there's a lot I need to improve on, I feel like my bag of tricks gets predicatable after a few games. I'm just a little dissapointed how much more Lambda has to predict on online play than reacting. I'll never forget the world difference fighting Tager online v offline. Easier to break grabs, easy to IB his jabs, his sledge hammers, his kicks, easy to get away from. Online, jesus, I feel like Tagers land the luckiest hits. I barely took a hit offline in a bunch of games thanks to that awful matchup Lord Knight took me down town and crushed me, but I was happy to at least see how much better I could react with zoning and even blocking overheads and mixups. My execution was sloppy and needed improvement, my reaction time needed to get better, but I couldn't help but feel so happy that lag wasn't the cause for any mess ups. If I messsed up zoning it's because I didn't react correctly or just fucked up outright Basically, once ECS starts I'd like to play offline more, online is kind of a joke and it can only make you so good to a point : /

Oh yeah, I understands lag hurts every player and character...It just feels so unforgiving since the neutral game from afar is Lambda's greatest strength. Her defense is a pretty big joke, just a super reversal, bad normals, bad pokes. She has her Counter Assault, but god it's awful. Her backdashes are great, but Lambda in the corner is lulzy. You see a lot of top Japanese players struggle and often lose once she's in the corner I honestly don't even know the point I'm trying to make, this is just a reality of online for every character, it's just a bit discouraging knowing how much easier it is to get in Lambda's defenses with all those missing frames from online connection; even 4 bar connection gives up a ton of reaction time available in offline play

I haven't played in half a year so I've been shaking off some rust recently. Does anyone get really discouraged playing Lambda online? After experiencing some offline play, Lambda online and offline is a major difference. You can actually react to people and zone them better. Online it feels like you have to go way more on prediction and less on reaction. This part kinda discouraged me to play online for a while I mean, hell, the shit Tager gets away with online and offline is fucking huge. I have some pretty mediocre Tagers get away with dumb shit, but I played a really solid Tager, and offline, that matchup is a massive fucking joke, I couldn't believe how different offline it was. I dunno, I know the solution is, "then just play offline" but still...Lambda feels so crippled online (Probably like many other characters)

Yeah, it was fun playing. The only thing thats a bit rough is my experience at Macs house. I can react so quick to people dashing in/airdashing, online, even at 4 bars, there's so much frame data that goes missing and the reaction time shrinks big time

Man, I bought a new hardrive so when I went on CS today I couldn't get the download to work right so it'd upload to CS2. Then I thought, "fuck it, I'll wait for new game". God, I'm going to be so rusty

I got bored of it and came back. I got a little tired of some of the bullshit. Glad I wasn't around when Valk was getting 9k from shit. I like Lambda, but today I raged for the first time in a while. I lost 9 games consistently in a room against a Hazama and a Jin. They're great players, but between the S tier and the 3.5 matchup, I was barely losing. Every. Single. Time.

I can't imagine the matchup being less than a .5 difference. Maybe 6-4, but I doubt it... Plat has a lot of tools, offensively. Heartcar is crazy retartded with 50 meter, you can hit Lambda's dead zone's and land it for 5k. If blocked, RC that shit for pressure and mixups. Lambda's defense is atrocious. You should use more 6A for oki, that shit catches people like crazy It feels kinda even, to be honest. The only matches I can really see being in Lamba's favor now is Tager and Hakumen

Sorry for getting so angry. It was just too many close games. it's the first time I've felt so helpless from tiers and matchups. Yeah, playing Lost Soul has helped a crazy amount. He's forcing me to play smarter and zone more aggressively. I don't like huge rooms because then you can't get enough experience in matchups.

I wasn't angry for losing, I was angry that I was losing by pixels in all 10 of those games. Seifuuku was barely winning in a 3.5-6.5 matchup. Just frustrated feeling the gap between low B tier and S tier, and being the better fighter against his Hazama. I would have been less upset if you guys raped me, I was pissed off losing by nothing in every. single. fight.

How are you liking CS2 Lambda? I really despise her now. I've never lost so much in BB before. One hit on her and it's GG. Arcadia had her listed just above Tager, i think

Dude, I don't think I can keep playing Lambda, every fight against any solid player is such a huge uphill battle. I was cool with mid tier Lambda, I still won a good amount, but I can't beat shit with her in CS2. I might do some research on Hazama, if I don't like him, I might just quit BB and see how BB3 is. Hazama is everything Lambda is but better, so I might watch some videos and shit. I have a feeling I may not like him but it's worth a try since he's a zoner with solid closeup game CS2 Jin has like every tool to deal with her. His coat tail attack, his j.C, projectiles, icecar with heat to get in free, crossups, anti air B/A/C attacks, dps, pressure really hard to get out of for Lambda, etc. I understand Jin's S tier, but man, it's frustrating. Did you know most Japanese Lambda players dropped her? I can't wait to see the tier list to see that she's A when she feels like Noel from the CS1

How are people getting the corner combo's consisting of... ...5C>236D>214D>236C? I can get everything off until the 236C Also, how are you guys doing the 236C>dash>5C>gravity>5C>6C>236C? I had to make it so I only do a few 5C so that gravity won't push them so high up so that I can get the next 5C>236C off to combo into.

TOAN, thanks for the tip about replacing some 6A's iand omitting certain 5C's and 2C's in the combo's! It's working SO much better, I'll gladly omit a few hundred points of damage if it means doing over a 1000 extra I havent had much time to practice this week, but the little time I had I was having some issues with the 236C>dash>2C's. Some of the space requirements with gravity and her C's are a little tricky but maybe I can just alter some things.

Fuck Tsuka's Lambda, his sucks, every video I see of him is losing Na^ga is a way better Lambda and should be the one you learn from, way the hell better, he actually wins fights with Lambda I'm trying to learn some more realistic combos from his videos, the psp combo video doesnt seem to have realistic situations where all those tight timings can land It's a little dissapointing how much the Lambda forums are lacking, the other forums have so much more support, info and help on the character

I know I still dont know the optimal combos or all the changes in Cs2 yet, and i just recently came back into BB, but I've never lost so much before. I'll be shocked if she isn't in the bottom 4

Who fucking cares about Lambda's 5BB. On another note, Lambda feels kida shitty to me. I've been busy this week and played CS2 for the first time today, so I don't know her optimal combos and everyones blockstrings and gimmicks. But like, one mistake and she feels like a piece of tissue. Her average damage is buffed, but the overall cs2 changes to everyone has really hurt her, I feel. It's honestly no wonder, I was seeing every video of CS2 lambda losing, japanese, youtube vids, everything. Shit, even Minori quit her. I'll stick with lambda, even if she's just above Tager in the tier list. I'm too lazy to learn a different character

Someonewhodied, I've been practicing those combo's from the psp. I can do some of them, but does it seem that due to 5C and lambda's multi-hits, that many of those combo's are VERY inconsistent? Sometimes I felt like I did the very same thing with the same timing and either bluebeated or had the dummy tech, or the spacing missed despite doing it right.

Well, her DPS was REALLY garbage. I can't even tell you how many times I used her dps the right time and whiffed it due to the atrocious hitbox. Her defense wasn't ever good, it's just the new mechanical changes for the entire game made her defense a problem. Plus, her Counter Assault might be the worst in the entire game, it whiffs ALL the time

Cool, I'm looking forward to it. I'm glad they changed her combo's though, cresent combo's were too inconsistent, Japanese players were dropping it way too much. The average damage outputs making me happy though. What tier is Lambda looking right now? Seems like a lot of the cast seems more powerful than their CS1 counter-parts
