We are probably limited to just drive moves against an airborne opponent. Nu can do 5C > 214D (short version) to launch the opponent into the air so it isn't that hard to get the opponent into the air to use CT.

I would guess they would be gravity well (if you want to run away), 214D (to force them to neutral tech) and maybe j.214[D] (if you know they are neutral teching depending on how plus it is on block). Also 5D but that is just to stop them from rolling after a j214D knockdown.

jD looks to be the same as the current jD. j2D is the one that goes at a 45 degree angle towards the ground. j6D is the other one that goes downwards towards the ground but at a less steep angle. It looks to go practically full screen.

Which situations are you talking about? Excluding 5C, all normals that Tager can gatling into 6B are level 3 or less so you can get non-purple command grab around the same speed as 6B would hit the opponent. And I don't think I've ever seen a Tager actually do 5C > 6B as a blockstring.

Watched the latest Nu matches (except the Rachel ones) and here are some things I noticed: Looks like you can act parser out of gravity well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GVx6XCSFHI#t=688 New combo 2B > 2C > 3C > 623C > 214A > 6DD > D spam. Seems to be our new midscreen combo and there is no reason not to use since gravity well recovers by the end of the combo.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GVx6XCSFHI#t=596 This time, they were able to do 623C > 6DD without the gravity well though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GVx6XCSFHI#t=897 This confirms that her drives are only projectile level 2 during the initial active frames: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GVx6XCSFHI#t=911 623C doesn't seem to FC anymore: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GVx6XCSFHI#t=1566 641236D grounds them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GVx6XCSFHI#t=1592 623C being used at the end of an air combo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GVx6XCSFHI#t=1954 236D (the charged version I guess) fatals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GVx6XCSFHI#t=2025 Is CH jB > dash 2DD something new? Never tested it before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GVx6XCSFHI#t=2214

We should probably consolidate all the known changes in the first post. And it hasn't been mentioned explicitly yet (though everyone knows it) but she has a new drive move, j6D. And the following is just stuff I noticed while watching that video: 5D didn't combo after 236236D. Might have just done it too late cause of the trade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=DrsWN7pMjDM#t=1651 Looks like we can combo from CH crescent saber without RC easily: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=DrsWN7pMjDM#t=5539 Interesting combo here 5DD > 4DD > 5DD > 236D~C > 214B > 5B > 6A > 6C > 66 > 2C: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=DrsWN7pMjDM#t=7072 Looks like one of our corner routes is stuff > 236D > 5DD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=DrsWN7pMjDM#t=6572 Another one is stuff > 236D > 214A > 5C: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=DrsWN7pMjDM#t=6532

When did this happen? Galileo is in winner's so he hasn't lost yet.

That's not how it works though. Blockstun starts the frame after you block the move. This has a nice chart showing how blockstun starts after they block the first active frame of a move

23 frames of start-up means it goes active on the 23rd frame. And active frames being separate from recovery frames don't really matter when it comes to canceling a move but at this point, it is probably better for you to test it out for yourself. Sorry for derailing the thread like this LunaKage.

You don't have to wait until the recovery frames to cancel stuff. You can cancel the remaining active frames.

[CP] Noel Vermillion - Gameplay Discussion

5C is a level 4 move with 18 frames of blockstun. 5D has 23 frames of start-up. There is a 5 frame gap. Characters with 6 frames jabs need to IB to be able to stuff it.

[CP] Noel Vermillion - Gameplay Discussion

I know there are different options. I was just giving him an option that covered both of the options he discussed. If she is within range that 5C > 6D would hit, then you can throw her out of 5D. Noel's 5D moves her pretty far forward before going active so she would need to be practically max range of 5C for the 5D to avoid the throw. Of course, she could just 2D to avoid the throw. Or 2C and probably some other stuff. Safest option is just block. And since I am here, I might as well ask. What do you do against Murakumo backdashes?

[CP] Noel Vermillion - Gameplay Discussion

You can definitely do it on IB. Nu can IB 5C and 5A Noel out of her 5D. They made Noel's drive more legit for pressure in CP so it makes sense there isn't a free way out of it. Though if you are really concerned if she will 6D to prevent your 5A, you can just throw her after IBing 5C. It catches both 5D and 6D after an IB'd 5C,
