    i remember when arakune mains got dramatically upset and worried at loketests(every. single. one) and when makoto mains got worried as fuck about cs2 loketests and etc etc etc etc etc you dont know shit about how she's going to end up or if the info presented is even accurate("CS1 Bang 6c hits crouchers?? Cool!" "oh..that wasnt true at all" etc etc) so hedge your worries heavily as if makoto is the pinnacle of visual character design

    again, loketests are tests, not partial stages of a patch, and im sure we dont know close to everything about what changed. did we even know from cs2->cse how her hitboxes got nerfed from loketests? stuff like that easily goes under the radar of what people report. it is difficult to judge how good or bad things will end up. dont put much weight into early judgments, just wait.

    the game is very different in bbcp and it is extremely likely that we only have like 30% of relevant information or something, or some changes just wont stick because they always do weird shit that doesnt stick in location tests, or at least the meaning of the changes are different in the context of other changes not saying she cant end up bad, arcsys is obviously imperfect, but it seems to me that loketests dont correlate very solidly with how strong a character ends up, especially when there's huge overall changes

    since when is 23f not reactable in modern games with their input lag, i don't understand why such moves would be made slower doesn't matter that much to overall mixup in the game but overheads being slower than most of the ones in bb is baffling especially when the rest of the mixup is still, you know, gg mixup

    yeah, and that's retarded thinking story canon should determine who is playable is like saying "you shouldnt be able to have makoto and litchi fight because that isn't a battle that happened, especially not in <stage>!" or shit like "character strength should be based off story mode power". both of those things break story mode canon just as having a non-fighting character fight does.

    They apparently sell decently, and IIRC there was an interview with arcsys or some other company that put fighters on handhelds where they said these versions sell well but to a completely different crowd than the console versions. I guess some people like mashing fighters on their handhelds.

    i can't wait until more character specific changes are revealed and then people panic that their character is shit tier because it is genuinely hard for people to realize that they have incomplete information and that strength is relative fixed that for you also ragna players don't get to rejoice in more interesting characters being removed from the game ;p

    thanks for the info, sxb. USA sales sure dropped off a lot more over the course of the series than jp sales, it seems. i wonder if that has anything to do with other USA releases at the same time eating up sales, or if its just a market difference? "wah wah some people criticized a company's decision i have to act like they're being unreasonable children" some people don't like that something was removed/replaced. nobody's getting super emotional about it except you. deal with it

    are there any reliable figures about usa ct/cs/cse sales, because that's where most of the sales and especially most of the 360 sales would be i wonder if their uncertainty about 360 release has to do with the fact that they're supposedly really revamping the netcode. maybe the way they're doing it has some incompatibility with xbox live? just speculation, i have no idea how this shit works lol companies give a shit about money didn't want to get into this topic, not much to say besides there's the murakumo hint in the trailer and that i seriously doubt that any company would throw away the work of those two charas as well as their playerbase but yes, if their gameplay styles arent in that would be even more stupid than getting rid of "old", nice stages and music

    iirc some charas can do special->overdrive like how in marvel/arcana/persona you can do special->super. only one i remember is ragna. hopefully he can't do inferno divider->overdrive, lol Yeah, do you just have a longer superflash proportionate to more inputs available at lower health(longer OD time), or or do you constantly hit D and a direction to command it after the superflash like some sort of puppet character, or what? If you're staffless, can you not overdrive at all, or does it cancel whatever staff-flight is going on and starts daisharin anyway? it was a cool beret but i do like the idea of her hair being down
