Arakune's in two spots, holy shit.

They say Rachel is the shittiest character of BB:CS, but what they don't know is that CS's precurse Arakune is even shittier! HA! . Any strategies to use against CS Rachel should be posted here .

I don't know, I think Arakune's interesting enough, I like this "being shitty and then becoming the very best" kind of gameplay, its like a... metamorphosis you could say . Reminds me of Zappa, but he wasn't as shit before he gets Raou.

Wich is harder to get, before you could get cursed from a single: 5D 2D 6D jD cloud a blocked cloud Air super And 4 of those lead to 5-6k damage in CT, also you could use other moves as starters to get those in and deal at least a good 4k damage (2A, air grab, grab, laser super, 6A, etc.) and lets not forget that you can use those between combos too to reset the curse meter too. If you know how shitty he is precurse, and how good he is in curse, why don't just leave him like that? people will be bitching about him if they give him better normals but lower his damage in fever mode just because it'll be easier to get curse, he's like Eddie, either he's good, or he's terribad (lolol Slash).

Arakune's airgrab got nerfed, in CT you could do 4k out of an airgrab from anywhere into recurse, now you only get full curse IF you're close enough to the ground and the opp. doesn't burst, it only deals 1.8k-2k (I don't remember) and you can't get instant recurse, don't you think thats a nerf? You're making it sound like his airgrab got better (protip: it didn't) just because it can lead to situational high damaging combos, thats if the damn thing hits with at least 60%+ of the curse meter. You're just blowing things out of proportion, you're saying that people don't get how good Arakune's stuff is and that you know his weaknessess, but when I said that Tager's 720 is a pretty awesome move you start giving me shit about how bad a character he is.

All I see is bitching about characters that there's no need to bitch about, myself. And are you sure about this? because I'm pretty sure I've been watching a shit ton of japanese videos too, and all the Arakune grabs get bursted after the first hit, 90% of the time.

You have serious mental problems if you get grabbed by someone who's spamming grabs all the time. Specially someone who's using a character that has an grab you know is fucking deadly.

Thats one very good mixup, I was wondering what the notation was, thanks Kou. That match against Ragna has to be one of my favorite Hima matches. EDIT: regarding Dennou, I'd second Skye in saying that the j2C messed him up, since that combo crosses up TWICE.

Nerf GETB plz it does 2 much dmg. FC 5C leads to dive loop, also I think that the teching time from FC 5C is long enough to let you do jD>5D>jA>jC>jD, giving you 100 curse meter.

I don't see many Arakunes that aren't Souji not being crushed though, unlike random Bang guy #8935739057430.

Wait... Arakune is ABOVE Hakumen? what the fuck? how? EDIT: The thing about Litchi and Bang being god tier is that they're god tier on CONTINUUM SHIFT standars, not MvC2, or Jojo's, or HnK.

I've seen less and less Arakunes lately, maybe thats why he's doing good, because there's only Souji, Fumo and Hima to see.
