As for the original poster, take this advice to heart. Play anybody and everybody. No matter if the connection is good or bad. No matter if they're good or they suck. Play everybody you come across because that gives you more exposure to different kinds of players. Some of the good players will give you advice if you ask for it, so it doesn't hurt to ask if you feel that the other player was really good. Heck, ask people here, too. It's part of the reason why these forums exist. But yeah, over time you'll learn to control yourself in matches with more exposure. Nobody was a born natural. Nobody. Everybody went through the same phase that you are in right now. -

There's no such thing as an autopilot character. Autopiloting is a bad habit that the player develops. It's not the character's fault, it's the player. Hell, if it's working, then it's the other player's fault for letting it work. -
It's gonna take a little getting used to again, of course, but I would do it. I think I still remember my Rebellion/Cerberus/Ebony & Ivory switch combos with Trickster. I always ran Rebellion, Cerberus, Ebony & Ivory, and Coyote A-1. The first three because I know what to do with them and Coyote because it becomes a ridiculously good crowd control weapon with maxed out Trickster. Teleport and Fire = "SIT THE FUCK DOWN!"

Totally agree! Actually, links are kinda helpful for maxing out her damage... Her links are stupid easy now anyways, so you'd be silly for opting to do chains with her.

AE's netcode is "okay," BBCT's netcode was really good, BBCS's netcode was mediocre, Extend's netcode is supposedly good, and GGPO's netcode is amazing. None of them I would consider truly perfect, though. :\
