Well, I decided to go ghetto. Like, that was the first time I played guilty for like a month or so, and at casuals before the ranbat I played only May :P But yeah, once I get more time I´ll learn AC-Baiken and not play that ghetto-ass-style :) But for now i´m satisfied with just having fun and will go for the ghetto. Nice ranbat guys, see you next week! And the week after that its the Swedish Guilty-Gear/melty-tournament Showdown in Lund so expect vids from that too!

Razorcrane is youzansen not tetsuzansen! lol at insufficient O and the comments in general.

Not anymore, it's not. I mean, come on. Tetzusansen looks way more like what a razorcrane should look like! :eng101:

Your concept has been hijacked.

wtf, when baiken says youzansen in Slash it sounded like razorcrane in one of her voice sets that's where it all comes from :o but now that youzansen is pretty awful i guess i can approve the change.

Guiltygear.se is coming out of its hibernation! Alot thanks to the fact that Shinjin actually has time to breath now, good shit man.

Anyhow I recommend you check it out for some info about the following goodness:

DF2 - http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3757

SiL2 - The not quite as well known tournament held in Sweden but still it manages to outhype DF2 by miles. Awesome hype, nice action, and a good insight into the swedish rising GG-community can be found in Shinjins series of articles on the tournament. It was alot of fun and all of swedens top-players had gathered to battle it out. Some vids are already up for your enjoyement now. http://guiltygear.se/content/view/49/1/

AMAZING Polls - Dont miss out on your chance to make a statement concerning the STRONGEST GG PLAYER ALIVE!?!! poll. Who is really king in japan? SBO-beast Ogawa? Everywhere-else beast Shounen? THAT Ky-player Machaboo? Or Captain Kaleidostar aka mike? Make your voice count at the only english newssite for the hottest guiltynews in the world, guiltygear.se!

Yonasu: in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOFxdcZLtoc at 0:53 when you hit Jam with CH 5P into air combo -- if the opponent is too far in the air for the B&B air combo to work, go for damage like j.K xx FLJ or something. (i'm not sure what else you could connect after 5P x2 -> j.K, with that spacing.) at least, off-hand, i think the damage should work out to be better than j.K-2K -> j.K -> dj.K.

actually, looking at the set-up again, it looks like maaaaybe j.K -> dj.K -> dj.D could have worked, but maybe not. kinda iffy.

Rtl42: j.k dj.k j.D j.2k etc might have worked, and is what I shouldve gone for as a tensionless combo. But I think j.k dj.k DHD wouldve connected, and probably finished the match right then. My only defense is that I didn't have that much exp. vs Jam and her very small hitbox then. Thanks for the input though, Slayer requires alot more thougth concerning spacing in his combos now and his game becomes so much better when you learn to deal with it.

SOUTHERN CROSS SEASON 1 EPISODE 1

Yea, we played this yesterday. It was awesome. Everybody who showed up was awesome. our brand-new capping card was awesome. My brand-new Robo-ky (aptly named Awersome-Robo), was not awesome, but whatever, we all had great times anyways. Shinjin has nominated himself to "most awesome moment" in his match against Yonasu, but I'm not gonna spoilt what it is.

Anyways, 12 people, two pools, eight playoff places, two bags of candy, one sofa. A lot was at stake

To save myself all the write-up, here's a chart showing the pools. Nekomon, who some might remember from S2iL, won his group after a strong showing. Clearly better nerves this time than at S2iL

Posted Image

Then the playoffs began. I'm only gonna link to the chart for that so it won't spoil those who want to see the awesome video.

Playoff chart. Boring and full of spoilers

THIS IS MUCH MORE FUN THAN LOOKING AT A CHART

Yea, I know some obvious mistakes I did, but if someone wants to give more better pointers than I'm all for that too :kitty:

So there you go, enjoy a great show.

Nekomon seemed like he was having no problems with anyone in the tournament. If he started baiting bursts, using pretty maze, and doing different block strings he'd be even better. Sweet matches.

I will stop catching colds and partying the day before ranbats from now on. But I did do the most cocky-thing of us all though.
