XDest Report post Posted October 9, 2011 Space reserved until we get more concrete information on BnBs. I'm starting to post stuff here, I'll clean it up later to be organized. The general standing midscreen starter: ~ -> 5B -> 5C -> JC -> j.B -> j.2B -> j.C -> 6A (2) -> Air Ender Crouching midscreen starter ~ -> 5B -> 6A (2) -> Air Ender Corner/Near Corner ~ -> 5C -> 6C -> Corner Ender - I need confirmation on whether 5C->6C works on non-crouching inside a combo. Air Enders: j.8D~A -> 2D~C -> j.9D~5 -> j.6D~6 -> j.C -> .. -> j.9D~9 -> j.3D~3 -> j.236Bx5 2D~5 -> j.6D~6 -> j.C -> .. -> j.9D~9 -> j.2D~C -> j.C -> .. -> j.9D~9 -> j.3D~3 -> j.236Bx5 Corner Ender: j.D~5 -> j.D~A -> 6C -> 4D~A -> 6C -> 236CC to Air Ender or AB2 Ender AB2 Ender: 6C -> JC7 -> j.236Bx5 -> JC9 -> j.236Bx5 -> JC8 -> j.236Bx5 - It's possible to start the above from 5B(2) -> 6C now, there's going to be a lot more variants this time around because of that. - It has to be researched more where to use 214D j.C into the corner ender. It seems like this might be important. If I get anything wrong it's because it's early, and we only have videos to go off of, not actual testing. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

iTz.WiiTarD Report post Posted December 1, 2011 jus watched the tao combo vid, i am very impressed with what she has got, midscreen ab2 combos are nice, the damage is great, and to sacrifice a little damage u can gain really good oki with 6a (1hit) jump cat2, i think tao will be awesome in the next one, jus need to hurry n release it now Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

KM Riku Report post Posted December 3, 2011 Just a tip, but check the original nico video to see notes about the combos and which char it works (a lot of combos there are character specific/need to delay stuff), but unfortunately I don't have time to do that for now. Also the AB2 midscreen stuff works in CS2 as you can see in the video. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mystic d Report post Posted December 3, 2011 I can't read or write in japanese very well. I had some friends translate this for me as was mentioned in my post. I also don't have the link to the original video on nico :/ i know that the timing varies slightly based on the hitbox of the opponent, but for the most part I believe that the non-meter combos are pretty universal except for the rachel and tager combos (which i noted as ? for a possible char. specific combo) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Stomoman Report post Posted December 4, 2011 After watching the video again, I definatley heard the grab whiff sound clip in the last combo. Is it possible to jump install into grab whif and continue to combo AB2? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
KM Riku Report post Posted December 5, 2011 Combo 3 doesn't work vs. Noel, Carl, Platinum and Lambda. Need to delay vs. Jin, Tsubaki, Hazama, Ragna, Mu-12, Rachel and Makoto Combo 4 doesn't work vs. Noel, need to delay vs. Rachel Combo 6 is universal, but it works better vs.Noel and Rachel than combo 4 and 5 Those are just some examples. There are a lot more, not just about character specific stuff, but also tips to make the combo easier. The original nico video (which you could easily find in the posting thread in general): http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm16303056 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mystic d Report post Posted December 6, 2011 Sorry for doing what I thought would help other Tao players? I don't quite understand why you're bashing me for doing this. I don't check the video posting thread; I wait for jourdal or pktazn to upload them to youtube since I'm subscribed to them anyway. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
KM Riku Report post Posted December 7, 2011 You took me on the wrong way, I'm not bashing you or anything like that...I'm just saying that the original video has some pretty nice notes about every combo like what combo you should use against Char X, how to make the combo easier and etc. Then you said that you believed that the non-meter combos were pretty universal and I just showed examples how that is not true at all and that notes like thoses are important and better than just post the combos themself. KM Riku Report post Posted December 11, 2011 Like Stomoman said, there's a whiff grab there so you can cancel the Hexa-Edge 4th hit. So the notation would be like this: 2C charged FC, 6C charged, 236236B, 6C, HJC(7) j.236B, 236236D (4 hits), Throw whiff, delay 6C, 6C, HJC(7) j.236B, JC(9) j.236B, JC j.236B Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

NeoGio0o Report post Posted December 23, 2011 Speaking of tsujikawa what happen to him? He never appears in videos anymore and it's rather unfortunate because he is apparently doing well PSR wise with Tao. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
KM Riku Report post Posted December 23, 2011 Well...he was in the last NSB in the beginning of the month, even in the finals (which his team won...after he defeated every player of the other team lol) And Tsujikawa videos usually are kinda rare, even in CS1 and CS2. NeoGio0o Report post Posted December 23, 2011 Would it be possible to do something like.... 2A, Standing hit confirm, 6A, TK 236bbbbb , bowling ball Not sure if this would all combo due to the 2A starter but it should if you scratch off the air ender. What I'm really interested in is if it be possible to get a bowling ball out after the TK 236bbbb mid screen. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
