zero hour Report post Posted March 2, 2012 What do you guys do against her approaches/pressure. I played a really good tao on net last night a few games in a row and it was insane. Once her shield pressure starts I don't know how to get out other then the obvious DP. And DP is hard to mash out with all of her cross-ups coming out. Any time my projectiles stopped flying out she seemed to get a near free approach that I just didn't know how to deal with.
Cryingvoid Report post Posted March 2, 2012 All Tao's d's are DP'able and 5/2a'able. Also her d's are unsafe on normal hit and block when she crosses you up with her ~b cancels. Use as many 2a's and 2c's as possible on reaction, they all beat her drives, but look out for famous Tao's baits. Use more habaya. It seems o be a decent basic tactic to set few normal steins - habaya (for safety) - 236d - rush at her. I've had some problems with Valk approaching me in his wolf form. It is a bit similar here. You have to watch out for her movements and don't rush without backup.
SolarMisae Report post Posted March 2, 2012 Do it Sakuma style, lots of IAD back > j.C xN lol. Anyways for real...air throw...and yes habaya, 5A/6A/2C anti-airs...DP. Thats all I got.
cookiehours Report post Posted March 18, 2012 I fought this really good Taokaka - Implicator and....all I could do was try to lock him down with steins. Her speed and pressure scares me more than Noel now. :/ Goddammit...learning matches is a freaking pain.

On a related note we should play together more. Edit : 100-0 in his favor if that wasn't obvious.

I had some idea it was him but dammit does this match screw with me. And yes, we need to play...when my connection doesn't suck like today.
