Another problem match-up for Yukiko. Aigis can be all over you and not give you room to breathe. Gun fire can shut out your persona in no time, so don't throw it out at random.

Her bullets beat all of your zoning tools.. fans/maragi, and the trajectory of her air dash makes it hard to hit her with any version of 2B. Then once she easily gets in on you you have to deal with blocking Aigis's mixups correctly. It's tough.

if you sniff a 2B coming from Aigis, roll it and get a full punish

and if she ever puts out her reflector persona, just hit it with a fan, let it come to you and knock out a persona card.

this is def a very tough match and you have to be VERY patient.

but i think this is one matchup where slow fans (6B>4B) are pretty good. since it'll buy you more time to breathe rather than trying to put aigis in blockstun or risking yourself to the recovery of a 5/6BB

also running away during orgia mode is pretty important

i have a theory i wanna test the next time i play this match.... thinking maybe her 4/5/6 D series might prove useful against orgia mode approaches.

it would be easier to double jump then fan toss, at that angle you have a huge chance of hitting her insted of the persona giving you a smig damage and taking away a persona card. works wonders if they have one card left.

I just fought a competent Aigis yesterday on my practice account. Holy cow...her mixups are scary. I managed to win one round but the last round was a 'wtf do I do against her pressure' moment. I guess I'll watch more videos...?

God, the bitch just keeps piling on damage and I'm never sure when her goddamn Orgia combos ever stop. So I don't know when to guard or what to guard.

I'm noticing aigis throwing out her persona into the air a lot which eliminates your fans from having much success. I'm not sure if she can knock out your persona with the shield burst from there, but I wouldn't be too surprised.

Anyone have good knowledge of deadzoning her bullets and trying to get that one fan in that way though?

A small zoning tip: Treat fans like you would fighting Shadow Labrys. In other words, do not expect to be able to use them. Your best move from full screen is Maragi because it won't get blocked by her Persona (much like against Shadow Labrys when she activates the Persona Block). You can also manually detonate Maragi to anti-air when needed since you won't get to use fans to anti-air as much.

I have been studying up on this match up trying to learn as much as I can and I have fought quite a few good Aigis players so this is my overview of this matchup

You pretty much have to be extremely patient in order to win this matchup and if you want to get close. Her 2B (bullets) beats out majority of Yukiko's zoning tools and Person D moves and shut's down your fans and jumping. Maragi is a good move to use from fullscreen because you can use it to anti air when needed and against her bullets you can use 4B>6B or 6B>4B because the bullet will hit the first fan you throw but it will not hit the second one so she will have to block it and that gives you breathing room and a chance to get something started I recommend you try to get to midscreen because that is the best place to be at against Aigis or you can try 6D so she can't move. Another thing her 2B is not safe at all so if you know it's coming just evasion it and punish

When she's in Orgia Mode it's best to just run away and attempt to keep her out and when she does Megido Fire just Guard Cancel it if you have the meter because the C version is +1 on block so you can't punish it and if you have Burst after you Guard Cancel you can do a OMB combo to get some major damage. Against 5D just throw a fan at it and beak the persona so you can take a card away from her. 5D/6D is great and useful tool to stop her approach while she's in Orgia Mode. I think Agi traps works wonder's in this matchup up so use it wisely to slow Agis down and stop her approach and keep her on the ground. Use Dia to avoid her 236 A/B or if you know it's coming while at midscreen just IAD and punish. Fire Break is a very useful tool in this matchup so if you have the meter use Fire Break High so you can get 2 levels for 25SP you need much damage as you can get. In my opinion while she's in Orgia Mode Dia and Maragi is your go to anti air moves it's hard to anti air with fans while she's in that mode and stay mobile don't stay in one spot if your not zoning.

This match up is still in Agis favor but if you can play patient and make the correct moves and not let her start her rushdown Yukiko can do pretty good I'm still experimenting with this macthup and trying to find out stuff but this is what I have learned so far. I will be back with her stuff soon hope we can discuss this matchup much more and find ways to deal with it.
