After watching him more, I retract some things I said about Tomi. But he still suffers in his defense. He surely has a fighter instinct and thats why it works for him.

Tomi, why must you display that you know what's going on yet still choose to play this aggressively. It's not that bad, in these recent videos he can calm down, especially against Tager. But his decisions on confirms and combos are so clean. j.2B ground bounce to switch opponent in corner? You don't see that one often.

Shadow's corner control was also very on point. Obtain drill level 3, then just play according to opponent's fear of the drill. it's godlike

Long deserved update

Amipara Technoland 09/08 - 5th dan Amane. Lots of sloppiness and uni-dimensionnal playstyle/runaway, but I kind of like watching these now and then. Really emphasizes what the good players are looking for and reacting to.

Amane vs. Ragna - Youtube

Amane vs. Eruo (Jin) - Youtube

Amane vs. Tenkyoku (Rachel) - Youtube

Tomi vs. Ibukichi (40 minutes mirror now in youtube version~) - Part 1 - Part 2 - Once Again, Tomi is beautiful to watch once he sets the pace.

Jiku (Bang) vs. Mao (Amane) (1hour set) - Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - We rarely get some Amane Bang matches, this one's pretty good overall.

Tachikawa 3on3 08/23

Gara (Amane) vs. UNDER (Tager) - Youtube

Amipara Technoland 2on2 08/18

Amane vs. Litchi - Youtube - I wonder what'd be the optimal burst safe combo off a fatal 6B. I know you can punish the burst afterwards, but not sure I've seen a burst safe option after 6B that didn't involve Overdrive. Could be possible with j.C air routes.

Amane vs. Relius - Youtube

7/28 MAXIM HERO 2on2 (Wow this dates back so much ;_;)

Mao (Amane) vs. Haru (tager) - Youtube

Mao (Amane) vs. Kokonoe (Makoto) - Youtube

Mao (Amane) vs. Noze (Hazama) - Youtube

Wish I had more time to watch all these in detail ;_; Fall behind in recent videos, then 4-5 sets of 40 minutes pop up lol

10/06 Urban Square teams

Wow a lot of Amane footage. Two amane were part of the same team, a 12-dan which might be NT and a 14-dan one (Arukemi if I'm hearing the commentators right). For this whole post, they'll be tagged as such. It's great because not only do we get a lot of fottage, but we get two different players of a different skill level facing the same players. You get to see mistakes and lack of stability in one and then see a more stable approach, both in neutral play and single player stuff.

12-dan Amane vs. Tager - Youtube

14-dan Amane vs. Tager - Youtube

14-dan Amane vs. Ragna - Youtube

14-dan Amane vs. Platinum - Youtube

12-dan Amane vs. Bullet - Youtube

14-dan Amane vs. Bullet - Youtube

14-dan Amane vs. Tsubaki - Youtube - Continued

14-dan Amane vs. Shimotsuki (Izayoi) - Youtube

Arukemi (13 dan Amane) matches. It's not exclusively him, but he's every video. From what I watched, he's got a good gameplan and does a bunch of matchup specific decision, especially stuff like baiting Makoto's DP.

All matches are against Fujio Azrael and Shuda Makoto

15 Minutes of Jiro vs. Mastumoto's makoto. Jiro struggling a lot and matsumoto being on freaking point :|

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIX5aTIeCik

Yesterday I was watching Jiro play in online godsgarden pools, he's so good but choked SO FREAKING HARD on a Mu player. Just dropping everything and playing desperate for no clear reason. I'm noticing a trend, he'd be such a strong player otherwise.
