Introduction

---

Welcome to Season 1 of the XBL Persona 4 Arena Ranbat Series! This five week event will give those looking for a chance to elevate their game or prepare for local/offline tournaments a platform to sharpen their skill.

What's a Ranbat? It's an event where seed points are awarded to each player per tournament. Once all qualifying tournaments are done, the top 8 participates enter a single elimination tournament for title of P4A Ranbat Champion.

Prizes Awarded At The End of The Season

1st Place can elect to get one of the 3 prizes below:

-T-Shirt of their choice from Sanshee

-T-Shirt of their choice from Brokentier

-$30 Amazon Gift

2nd Place gets a $10 Amazon Gift Card

Basic Info & Point Structure

When: October 15th, 2013 @ 9pm EST [Tuesday]

Stream: Jaguarfan Stream

Brackets: http://challonge.com/P4AR5 (will be updated, once tourney starts)

Check-Ins: Starts 8:30pm EST in the mibbit IRC chatroom (see Event Communication for chat details)

Player Limit: None

Format: Single Entry, Double Elimination, Best 2 of 3 Matches until Grand Finals which is 3 of 5 Matches

Character Lock: Winner is locked, but loser can switch characters.

Player Region Lock: Anyone in the US East Coast/Central or Canada can Enter. West Coast Players can also enter, with a verified connection

Point structure:

1st = 10

2nd = 7

3rd = 5

4th = 2

Participation = 1

Events will be held bi-weekly every Tuesday, unless noted otherwise.

Disconnection Policy

---

- The player causing d/c will forfeit 1 match.

-If the DC'ing player does not return in 10 minutes, the set is forfeited.

-Contact me on IRC if you have any disputes ASAP

-Since this is netplay, hiccups between connections may happen.
