Mermaid Gundam flies into the target and launches them in the air.

[AB] Feilong Flag(Throw)

A row of 3 flags are thrown near the opponent. Holding 2, 4, 6, or 8 will throw the flag around the target in the same direction. 5AB is the same as 2AB. Holding AB will make Dragon throw all of its available flags in a counter clockwise pattern starting from the 2 position, unless a direction is input.

Strategy

run and give people long range high fives

Instant sidesteps are important for dodging stuff while running as well as recovering boost a little more safely, and are performed by tapping C and immediately sidestepping. If done properly, Dragon will remain on the ground and sidestep, recovering boost when it finishes. If done improperly, Dragon will jump into the air slightly and then sidestep.

New move: CSa - summons Mermaid Gundam
New move: AC - shoots dragon fire. Old AC is now any direction+BC, old BC is 5BC
New Extreme Attack added - old one is 2ABC, new one is 5ABC


Other

Burst Effect: Attack modifier increased to 1.22/1.05 in A/B burst respectively, defense modifier decreased to .8/.7.

Should be noted that after a ground dash (run) is done he will skid across the ground a bit, covering some distance and not expending additional boost.

Jumping during a boost causes him to jump pretty high.

2B is pretty awesome.

Two questions as I only have Extreme vs (for now)

 

1: Is dragon still able to summon in Extreme vs?

2. It there a way to use his flame thrower outside of just his BC? if so, how would I do that on a controller?

I really like Dragon with a bully suit.

Played with a friend who was running Quanta and he was able to really create a lot of opportunities for me to get direction BC combos.

He's great to use when you have a partner that can get you an opening, and kind of frustrating to use otherwise.

I think he does indeed have issues creating opportunities himself. 

 

But I feel he also is very good at DENYING opportunities  with A, punishing bad Melee with BC grab and can force movement with flag poles. 

 

His csA is annoying too
