[FB] 3000s Moveset and Combos Compilation [20/20]

Recommended Posts

Alright, so I'm lazy and I've decided to just post all of my Google Docs for the individual 3000 units here.

Keep in mind that most my work is off Google translate, though I'm fairly confident in my translations (I tried to stick to the simple stuff) and almost 100% certain in the combo notations.

If there's been any mistake, which there undoubtedly will be, the docs can all be commented on, so feel free to correct me or add things you see missing.

If you guys want to add these to your own threads, feel free!  All I ask is that you credit me with the link at the beginning.

I'll be working on 2500s, 2000s, and 1000s as time goes on, though finals are starting for me soon so it'll be a lot more sporadic.

Oh, and Ex-S is still missing, I forgot about him.  I'll add him later too :P

This is pretty cool

Thanks!

Also if you do make an edit, please comment in this thread OR message me.

I'm way too lazy to frequent every individual unit page to look for comments, so it'd be way easier and faster for me to make corrections if you message me on this forum personally.

Added Ex-S (DLC) [20/20]!!!

Shoutouts to akai_GO again for a great translation, way better than what I could/would be willing to do.  Thanks again!

And with that, 3000s are complete for now, though I'll be adding more stuff with revisions and the like once I'm done the rest of the suits (which won't be for a while).

Corrections/additions:

v2 2b shield:  "Technically counts as a beam (i.e. ABC Cloths will block this)"

pretty sure this is untrue. i just tested it vs fullcloth. he got hit by it even though his cloak was at full HP.

turn a csA: "mostly obsoleted by hammer zunda" is very strange to say considering that the gerobi is still useful for ranged punishes, gerobi's primary purpose isnt to replace ranged zundas.

turn A cs2A does not exist. You mean cs8A. You may want to note that it has a disjointed, very continuously active hitbox and moves forward and points downward, so it functions somewhat like a slower(i think?), stunning, different oriented version of active forward-moving melees like redframe 8bc.

the ab turn a info is very interesting and noteable. im glad you made these lists.

for strike freedom BC: "Can backflip to the left or right depending on directional input"

You can also do 2bc, which is very nice as a pseudo-fastfall. Also, you can input A while doing BC, similar to messala BC.

His 2b actually does damage?? *runs to Practice to check*.... ...I...had no idea...-.-;

But yeah, I just checked it against every ABC suit and it hit them. It does laughably pathetic damage, but I actually killed X2 using only 2b and his cloak never came off (compared to the 2 regular V2 BR shots it took to knock it off), so it's definitely not blocking the damage...

But I've also seen before the thing about the shield being classified as a Beam...is it possible that there's like 2 different categories of Beam - ranged and saber - as to why ABC cloaks block Beam ranged but not melee, and 2b is actually the second category of Beam weapon??

Thanks Mightfo, I really appreciate the edits. The last thing I want to do is spread around inaccurate info :D

And yeah, little details like Turn A ab are intricacies that just make this game even better and deeper IMO.

Good stuff putting all of this together. I honestly don't play enough of this class and it's a valuable collection of info to jump further into it with.

A small note on V2 Assault's 2b. After setting up the Mega Beam Shield, using bc will fire the V-Beam towards the target (assuming they are somewhere in front of the shield). The tracking and speed are still the same, though it's been awhile since I used it so I can't recall if it tracks if you yourself are in greenlock or not (probably not). Thanks to its speed, the chances of capitalizing off of it are really slim, but it's interesting nonetheless and thoroughly satisfying if it actually hits anything.

LOL, absolutely have never seen this used before, but I'll add it.

Did you find this out yourself?  Or did you happen to see someone else do it?

Yeah, its not about the damage, its about interrupting melee approaches in that regard and then comboing off the hitstun.

As for beam categories, I am not familiar with things where being a beam saber would matter. I cannot think of armors where that fact seems to matter. it is strange/interesting that the JP wiki states such info...

Also, I forgot to check the 2b BC thing. I assumed that was the primary use of BC, have not heard of using raw BC projectile for anti-melee but i may mess with that.

WingTV: CSb doesn't cut guidance during melees, you take 1.5 damage if hit during it

So upon further inspection, it seems that much of this information is extremely paraphrased info from the individual weapon descriptions, is that correct? Or are you adding in your own personal opinions?

Well I only have Ex-S to my name in the 3k thread, but when I have been doing my write-ups I'll read both the notes and the lengthier explanations for the weapons, and then translate, simplify, and combine. But I also always have the suit open in practice when going through the stuff and will sometimes try to shed a little more light on what the translation is saying according to my experience testing it, or if I run across something that stands out to me :x

99% of the stuff is paraphrased from the wiki, mostly since a) I don't have the game yet, and b) I don't think I'm experienced enough to say what is good for doing what in certain situations.

Unfortunately, unlike akai_GO, my knowledge of Japanese is nonexistent and I don't have the game yet to test stuff.  I just made these on a whim since the unit threads here didn't look too active.  Sorry if this isn't what you're looking for in the Dustloop wiki, but the ammo/damage values and combo notations should be good at least if you want to use those.

Yeah it's fine, I just couldn't tell if some of this information you wrote was incorrectly translated or your opinion.

It's likely an incorrect translation.  Sorry for the hassle.  I can limit the Notes section to the most simplistic stuff (i.e. cancels) and leave the more complicated stuff to others who are more adept than me at translating, if that would be better.

If there's anything in particular that stands out as wrong atm, please let me know so I can fix it, though I certainly don't expect you to go through every unit page with a fine comb :P

Nu tactics, burst, and partners added. As usual, in case of factual errors please feel to mention it and it will be fixed.
