[LM] Wiki update project

So I'm sure a lot of you have tried to check out a characters wiki page from the character thread only to find out that the wiki is incomplete or in some cases for some characters completely empty of any real information.

That's what we need you guys for! Do you play a character? Have anything at all to add to a characters page? Here's our thread for helping to organize that. I will keep a log of all of the characters pages and what has been done in the post below this. This post will host the rules and format for how to edit the wiki.

 

Arcana Heart 3 Love Max wiki - Here is the main wiki page, with links to all of the characters pages. 

Heart's wiki page - This is the closest we have to a finished page. I just need to add in a few move descriptions and fix up the intro a bit. This covers most cases that you will run into on the wiki and give you an answer for what to do.

Formatting the wiki:

So every character has their base page made (with very few exceptions, and those pages already have maintainers who just need to update the page to fit the new format.) Some characters have had their normal list populated and just need information added (not ever character, I stopped due to time constraints). moves will follow these two snippets of markup, repeated.

Repeat until you have every normal on the wiki.

 

As far as order goes, moves need to follow this layout to be uniform. 5>2>6>3>1>4>7>8>9. So start with neutral, crouching (Because those are the two base moves for any given button), then starting with 6 (Forward) move clockwise until you hit 9 (Skipping 2 of course). You can present specials and super in any order you see fit. Please list any and all air/ground versions like you see with the Heart wiki entry for her DP.

 

For Specials we are notating with 236X, 623X, and then listing all given versions within the moves description box. This was done to absolutely make sure that you can't misread a special and a supers inputs and confuse them. If a special is bound to a specific button (i.e. 236C) and only that button it gets listed with that button instead of X. Supers are listed with whatever buttons you need to press together.

 

Jump normals are notated as j.X. This prevents any confusion with j.C and JC being used for a jump cancel. Please follow this markup for your combos and normal listings so that it is uniform .

 

You can list your combos any way you feel nessisary. Don't go crazy. Please list the combos in an easy to read and straight forward way. Please only list important combos, no one needs to know Momijis shitlord midscreen Ribbon Beam loop that the other person can tech out of, we can talk about that in the character thread. This goes for move descriptions too. Please keep it short and to the point.

 

If you are interested in adding your characters normal images to the wiki please contact me privately. Please do not talk to me publicly on twitter about this I will ignore you. 

 

Do not list what anime characters you think a certain color looks like. I will remove it and I swear on Atlanta Falcons Weiss and LA Lakers Clarice I will find you and end you.

Are we looking for any particular look or format for the strategy and introduction sections? I like the way Bill does the Saki page but I want to know if we are going for any sort of universal look outside of what you listed. I've done a little bit of Kira's section and plan to move forward into strategy or normals soon.

Cool, where do we get pictures/hitboxes for attacks special moves? not sure if there is an archive somewhere.

Kira is a funny situation (Kira and the blob are separate sprites, much like Eko and Kaz) you're going to need to wait for a frame viewer

Alright no biggie, I think sprites will work just fine if hitboxes aren't avaible.

It's not even waiting for the frame viewer for hitboxes, Kiras sprites need to have the graphics for Kira and the blob parsed together. The good news is we have have a VERY good breakthrough on that

Rise from your grave. We need the wiki filled out more. I've added links to the vanilla pages from the main pages, we still need info added to a lot of character pages.

I'll work on some of Eko's, although I'll want someone to check it since I play her less in this version. What's the status on the frame viewer?

I don't believe there's been any update, things have been very hectic, and i've personally been somewhat busy. Text is a lot more important than the images though.

I'm wondering if a list should be made to see whos working on what. The arcana pages need to be updated to LM though not as badly as the character pages. Once I find time, I can finish Kira's page by the end of the month or so. I'd still like someone else (another Kira player preferably) to look it over and change/cut down if needed.

I will make progress pages for both the UNIEL page as well as the LM page after work today.

I've filled out most of Eko's page and will complete it soon. I'll update some Arcana pages, and Hilda's UNIBEL page. I also haven't made the AH3 Trivia page, which is something I've wanted to do...
