It seems like we can get in if we get a 22A/B or 5D out and ready, but I have no idea how to make that opportunity or what to do once I'm in to ensure I stay in.

I'm not sure what there is to say about this.  You're not going to be throwing out yolo 5Ds and having them actually hit, you're gonna have to actually play a legit approach game instead of "lol i press button now u ded" gimmicks like you might have with Minazuki or Yu or someone of that sort.

Once you're in it's pretty easy to stay in as long as you don't get DP'd, Yukiko has really bad close-range pokes and no actual AA.  Beyond that it's just basic pressure with RIse and knowing what works and what doesn't.

Well, obviously I wasn't saying to just randomly throw out 5D and hope for the best. Maybe if Yukiko makes a big (~6-hour long) mistake, we'll have time to set one up. I don't know what tools to use in this matchup anyway so I'm just spitballing as it is.

Well, Yukiko can't exactly do much outside of wake-up roll and dp. So once you're in and keep it safe, you can pretty much win in fairly easily. The only thing is that I think Yukiko beats Rise in the neutral. I used to play Yukiko back in Vanilla P4A, so I'm just going off of what still works in ultimax.

Main problem in this match is in the beginning, since her zoning neuters our slow ass Persona. There's no use trying to use it in neutral, just carefully approach until she makes a bad read on her zoning. If she doesn't, well she's outplayed you plain and simple.

Problem is that with your C and D buttons useless in the beginning, and only one good normal, our approach is extremely predictable compared to most of the rest of the cast.

When you got 50 meter to burn tho, she has to respect Risette Field's projectiles. Reflector shield is amazing as it blows up all her projectiles, but its not worth sacrificing pressure for so use it sparingly.

I haven't tested it myself but back while I was waiting for the NA release, I remember people saying that in general, SB Arrow Rain doesn't hit people if they just stand in place. Not too big a deal in my opinion. It's not often that people will be in a position to stand perfectly still and even if they do, SB Arrow Rain is still fulfilling its primary function of limiting the opponent's movements. It does give them the chance to make an attempt to DP you though, not sure if that's a big deal or not. Time will tell.

It's pretty standard with SB Arrow Rain - it tracks, but it's essentially a tornado; there's an eye of the storm in the middle where it's safe. It's still a good roll bait, however.

I think character with larger hitboxes, like Kanji, will still get hit if they stand still, but I haven't actually tried it.

Not sure how helpful it is either, but here's a very long Yukiko vs Rise set: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkDMZfipl8E
