[CP1.1] Bullet Challenge 30 help?

Decided to go for one last shot at this game since I heard Bullet's not half bad now in 2.0 along with Terumi.

 

Trying to do her challenges on the 1.1 patch, up to her final one where you have to do a combo of over 10000 Damage. Can't seem to manage it though. I followed some videos but they're outdated and were still on 1.0 meaning her Overdrive meter runs out sooner on mine than it did for them and her CT doesn't send Az spinning.

 

Anyone got any suggestions?

Here's the demonstration combo that they show:

 

5[C] > AB > 6C > jcABCD > 623C > 623D > 6A > 5C > 5DD > 41236C > 236D > 623C > 6623A > 22D > RC 2363214C

 

The timing on the Overdrive Rage Aggressor is kinda strict.  You have to do every move as fast as possible.  You also have to NOT do 5D[D] since you'll run out of Overdrive if you do.

Okay, tried it and fumbled it a bit but I noticed if I jump cancel into Overdrive it lasts longer. That;s actually kinda interesting and something I totally missed. I'll give this combo more practice later on. Thanks.

 

So do I RC when she slams them into the ground or just as she tosses htem away with another hit? Because I can't seem to hit enough damage to make 10000 when I do this combo unless there's something I'm missing.

It's a red-lock 5D as well, no? I remember barely not getting enough damage which was fixed by red-locking it, a bit hard after 5C but not impossible with that starter.

Ah I see it now. I think I can get this. The last dash into Cutting Shear is a bit fiddly on a PS3 pad (Haven't got a fight stick admittedly) but I'll get there.

 

Finally got it! The last hurdle I had to overcome was timing her 2nd Snap Hands fist after the Miquelet stuff but I got it.

It's not.  The game doesn't take away enough health to give you a long enough Overdrive for it.  If you do a red lock 5D / 5D[D], Overdrive ends up running out before you can get off the Overdrive Rage Aggressor (pretty sure you need the extra damage from Overdrive Rage Aggressor even with 5D[D] to break 10000).  Sure would have been nice if they just set our health at 1% so we could try out more routes.

It's because you're jump canceling into a raw Overdrive, rather than performing an Overdrive Cancel.
