[CF] Blazblue CENTRAL FICTION: News and Gameplay Discussion

Airk, they could make 5B combo directly into 6C on non-CH, and reverse prorate, and make it unblockable and you'd still probably find a reason to say Tsubaki's bad

I dunno if Konan played games before BB (I'm assuming he didn't pop up out of no where though), but there's arcade footage of him using Konan from 2009

You can do them without the j.BCC route too, just you're giving up like 700 damage per go (and the j.236A combo just won't work because you'll be too close) 6B just so happens to be just long enough to perfectly time meaty 5C. I only figured that out because I was trying to see if it'd combo (which sometimes it can off a short enough starter)

In the corner 5BB5CC>623C>j.236A(w)>5C>2C>j.BBC>2C>214B>2C>236A>214B>22 3031 damage, 22 heat gain, gets the full untech time on 22. Alternatively, it's 2846 damage and 20 meter gain if you stop at the last 2C for a safejump, which is probably her most damaging way to end in a safejump without charge. Also after j.BBC>2C you can do j.236A oki in the corner. Just requires that you neutral jump when you do the j.BBC part.

    Command throw, 75 meter, 0 charge: 63214C > RC > CT > 6CC > IAD j.CC > 5C > 2CC > j.C > dj.CC > j.214A [3490 DM] [12% HG] (it's literally the same combo as the 22D one just replace the one move) I found a nice little glitch with Tsubaki this morning. If Overdrive runs out during 236236C's animation, you'll start losing charge.

Magic combos or whatever. Keep a spare pair of pants on hand for when you guys see 3CC enders http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm24821035

I was answering within the context of "why would you want to do it over any other ender" which seemed to be more what Airk's question was implying, in which case I stand by my answer.

There is no reason. The only time you'd ever want to do it was after j.214D and that was only because it was the only thing that would connect without burning another charge or RCing the j.214D, and now you can just dash 2A after j.214D. 3CC had a slightly better safejump situation (safejumping after it beats Houtenjin and Kagura's DP) but 2A>5C>2C>214B would also give you a safejump that'd beat those options as well.

DP launched lower in the loketests, so if that change is still in, just do j.214A(w)>5C on everyone.

  13. I never noticed you had XBL. Did you ever play BB on 360 before the great Exodus.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/blazblue-chrono-phantasma/214780-highlander-mode-help-thread.html A couple characters are a little iffy (especially Litchi. OD All Green destroys in Highlander mode) but it should at least give you a good idea of what to do for everyone. Also regardless of which character you're using, save OD for core mode. You just straight up do more damage to it regardless of what moves you're using in OD.
