What's a strong combo to do mid screen? I'm finding more damage midscreen than I am in the corner. What's wrong with me ;_;

Honestly, walk backwards. You're not gonna have an answer for every approach, via versa for any other character (except for Koko), but if you feel you're in a situation where you know all your anti air options will whiff, get yourself in a comfortable position where you know if your opponent tries jumping at this moment, your anti air will be successful. In most cases, just walk backwards a bit. Large possibility you may be doing too fast. Try hitting 66 about 1/4 a second later. Have input commands on during training mode, if 66 comes out, but Hazama didn't move, that means you just did it too fast, is all. -

Did they remove Hazama in 1.1? Watching vids, Hazama can't be found sad face. -
Kokonoe can duck under some of Valk's overhead wolf setups when barrier at the right times. It's the basic string with dash bite and the valks go High or Low with the kick or the sweep. If you barrier the bite and the Valks go for a High, the High will whiff and you can punish. Playing my buddies' Valk, the high Kick thing he does in wolf mode whiffed a lot to the point where he stopped doing it (only going for low and command throw mix ups), but the only string I recall dodging the high was the wolf bite into mix up. I don't know the name or normals for him

I... what..? I... what the hell?! Next thing you're going to tell me, you're going to explain how Valk's wolf mode is useless cause you can't block in that mode.

Guess I'll have to check in and see what I saw wrong with those 2A starters. If I could post the combos for results, I could, but quiet frankly I'm not 100% sure what the combos are myself. That, or I'm just seeing things lol.

You can still get a lot of 2A, you can no doubt get A LOT out of 2C even on normal hit to catch jumps. Watching videos and buddies playing her, people are able to land 3k off random 2As into oki. That's really good good mid screen. I dunno, it sounds like you're not familiar with Kokonoe if you're limiting yourself.

This is horribly incorrect. She gets very good damage midscreen with a good stater (like 5B and so on). With Grav out, landing random hits become every more deadly due to the float caused by the Grav.

I've kinda notice that when playing Koko. I've been doing combos from random posted combos videos and whatever the jap bss and friends tell me, and during training mode I notice I'd drain the gravitation meter rather quickly for some of the more optimal combos. I thought this was going to be an issue, having to manage gravitation, but playing real matches I've never had to worry about it even when landing those combos multiple times. That last part of the quote, I wonder of a lot of people have cried about it over to the staff. With that said, when is the next God's Garden? I'd like to see one where Kokonoe is allowed. BTW, I continue to thank you'll for the feedback.

I have to disagree with most of this video. A lot of segments explain how she's limited in X situation, but having been in training mode with her for just 24 hours, it's clear this player hasn't been playing Kokonoe for very long (or if any).

What I find odd is, I actually don't mind Black Hole. It's like a brain dead version of Eddie's unblockable setup. Problem with Black hole is, getting 7.8k no meter is... a bit much.

Honestly, I'm fine when it comes to updates and balance changes. However, when they happen to often, that gets annoying. But, the only thing that worries me is how Arcsys balance their games. Every time they "balance" their game, it's a goddamn coin toss. "Character is top tier? Now he just sucks!" kinda of thing kills it for me. Why not take the Arcana Heart path, and just tone up low tiers and leave top tiers alone
