SpaceMan_FT, I'm merging this thread with BioLogIn's thread. edit: May I ask why you guys use different codecs compared to everyone else? I've never even heard of Haali Media Splitter, and I've never had to use Matroska or FFDshow for any other videos than your match videos. Is there an advantage to using this stuff compared to what everyone else uses for viewing videos?

2 rtl42 thanks, I was just going to ask you to do the merging. as for Matroska... it allows several things other video containers cannot do - such as storing sound in .ogg format. it also provides much better compression\quality ratio then most formats (including .wmv and many others). wheither all this worth making people to install another codec or not is quite a debate over here :\ I hope one day I'll convince our video-ripping guy to betray his "top-tech" .mkv for something more popular. Until then it's .mkv, I guess. But as for me, I had ffdshow installed anyways long time ago, so I never had any problems with .mkv.

i had problems watching the vid, but from what i could make out: chipp needs to learn FDC, and his airgame is too dangerous in general, too many jump over, air dash back stuff that was unsafe (not as okizeme, but during normal play..its even dangerous as okizeme though). groundgame was better, i liked the corner rushdown end of round 1.

Download the pack. It pretty much has any coded you'll ever need to watch videos, be it DVD rips, anime, super plays, etc.

Using VLC player usually corrects the problem without having to download the codec, but sometimes the way it plays back is not intended to how it was meant to be seen. For example, before I downloaded this pack, the mkv files I used to watch anime on had subtitles you could turn on and off with VLC player. Problem was... is that the fonts are supposed to be embedded in the video, rather than be plain text subtitles. That's the only thing I've noticed... but it's always good to keep your codecs updated, regardless.

I've only watched the first JO vs BA... Before giving some comments on it, I would like to ask... how come Sol, Baiken and Testament only versused Johnny? Why didn't they versus each other as well? Like BA vs TE or something. -_-"

I would like to point out that the Baiken used guardcancels/counters WAY too much. WAY too much. If only that Johnny player knew how to bait the counters and punish him for it.

Also, that Baiken should learn to use different counters in different situations. For example, he used the Sakura counter when he blocked the Johnny's aerial fire pillar move... (Don't know what the hell's that called). WTF? And it wasn't just once. Hmm and the Baiken should also learn IAD Front Tatami? I never seen it once he used it as an okizeme on that Johnny.

Re-post of Slep's post:

Small video about Eddie basics:
http://e-ninjas.ru/vid_11082006_1.htm

I'm posting this here because you can represent yourself and thus post in your own region's thread. Essentially, I'm trying to reserve the stickied Slash Video posting thread for Japanese videos or other videos that are of unknown origin. Just fyi :thumbu:

BTW just watched this -- what a great tutorial: Clear presentation of useful combos and mix-ups, and their alternatives; nice music and editing; and it's in English! Good work, Slep

I saw the single finals and man Goga freaking murderd Mad Tomato. Mad tomato didn't use butterfly pressure at all except for once or twice D: He should have gone for that a bit more.

boobs, butt, uterus

we're a rather derogatory bunch with the need to pointlessly slander women during our combos to keep our rage under control
