I don't play this one too much. The best advice I can give is to get a life lead and do your best to run away. Save your meter for CA to get out of sandwhich pressure, and only approach when you can safely. Carl's mobility isn't that great, especially with the removal of fastfall, so use this to your advantage. If you do a combo, watch the position of the doll, because Carl can burst then move his doll to attack, with a very common and effective point being when you do 623D (Jakou).

An if someone doesnt care that you are +10, and they still wish to attack... It is due to a lack of respect. ...Therefor he has no reason to block since he has no respect..

I haven't played against a good Carl in Extend but in CS2 the matchup was basically run away and zone a lot, don't get sandwiched, and watch out for Nirvana. I like to beat up Nirvana but not too much. Carl's limited mobility can make it really hard to get to you in this match if you play right, just watch out for the doll's drill punch and anti airs, the doll has quite a few and Carl's 6A is very fast.

Again, don't get sandwiched. Much like Hazama, Carl has a great airdash for crossups. Carl has an infinite. Try to mash jayoku to get out of it. Listen to Guymam, the fact that Carl can control Nirvana while bursting is important.
