Actually, you're right, it does. It does that because it wastes the frames you have before they get up. The problem is you create a bigger gap between their wakeup and your 6A so you have less options when you go for mixup.
When you do 5C > 6A, you are practically right on top of them the moment they get up. They can go for bluebeat, but if they don't you are in a better position.
Yeah, the one way out is not teching, but you can delay the 6A.
Ultimately it is still a guessing game. But the 6A covers rolls at least. What happens if they go for bluebeat after 3C > 6A?
That's what it was. You should drop the 3C. It gives you less time to get the 6A out when you do 3C. It's easier for them to just get up and hit you.
It's all about spacing. Just like my counters and 3C. If you have 3C blocked at point blank, you're at disadvantage, but if they block it from the tip, by the time they could get near you it's too late.
j.2C has a lot of blockstun. If they want to DP out in between j.2C and something else they can, but otherwise it's still good. You just have to figure out the right way to space it and such. I can't really think of the precise way off the top of my head since I've been doing it by reflex for so long now.

Your Hakumen wasn't as bad as you make out. You had some good control of space around you and hit confirms. And combos (then again, every Haku's combos are better than mine). Some of the AAs I noticed are from your Tager reflexes, because they were basically in the same situation and timing that you don't normally get for Hakumen.
