One of our English tutors once said that if you get complimented for your English, that means it's hilariously bad. Though I think she was talking about the Englishmen and their sense of humor.

Anyways, English is probably the easiest second language to learn simply because there are so many ways to practice it. I've also been studying German, and it's been more difficult so far, even though it's similar to both English and Russian.
