I see, so any drive after 2D CAN be mashed out of. I respect d.5A too much, so that makes sense. However, I'm pretty sure 5A on (my) reaction to 2D doesn't fare too well and often ends up with me getting CH'd, while 2A gets beat out clean. j.D pretty much just rapes any other option, aside from Rising Fang, which is like a 50/50 on both sides.

Just curious, what universal option does Hazama have against Noel's raw 2D and j.D? Air grab beats out j.D, and 5C beats out 2D, but not vice versa. 5C won't beat out j.D, and air-grab on (my) reaction gets me blown up by 2D, which somehow still manages to link into other drives despite the player not even knowing what he's doing.
I also find it stupid how I'm actually being pressured by Drive mash, when it's supposedly filled with tons of gaps. Are there certain Drives I should be looking out for, that I can block and 5A out of? I actually don't like keeping my distance although I play Hazama, and while his normals do often beat out Noels, almost no Noels online even USE their normals, and I'm kinda stumped now. Can't believe I'm still not fluent with this matchup. If these Noels knew how to combo, my life would be hell. I'm barely making it out by the skin of my teeth.

But thinking about it, wouldm't 5C>d.236D put you to close to the wall to connect 22[B] after d.236D>6C? I thought the 4D was meant to move her backwards a bit so you could create some room for the Silence to connect.

Would you consider CH 6C or 6C(2) a better corner combo starter?

...This doesn't work, does it? I just noticed how many 4Ds are in the combo as I was typing it down lol.

You could always late-chain the move and blue beat the link...but I'll just assume there's really nothing much to salvage.
