I don't know. maybe 13,14,15?
And possibly having much scarier pressureyea. But in the end we'll have to wait till the games out. But from what was told to us, all or most of what i mentioned should work. If only they made normal mode a bit better though
Hover > 1 jump+ 2 back hover/2 forward hover/1 f. hover + 1 b.hover should be her options after any given hover. And you can control the y axis and the forward hovers. Thats a lot of movement options just from a "jump".
It will change her pressure too. j.B/C are jump canc. And with the extra airdash option given to her she should be able to IAD them for a double overhead. Something like
Hover j.B > IAD j.B would probably be extremely fast and would happen before she even hit the ground. And for the people who like to block the first overhead and mash out something like j.B > IAD back > IAD forward j.C punish. But Im iffy about that working since they said air back hover wont have any invul like the ground one. But for the double overhead one, it just might be possible for something like Hover j.C > IAD j.B to be gapless. If it is then well... damn. There are a lot of possibilities. Not sure about all these people saying they'll play her. Shes going to become harder to play.
Yes you can do GA backdash to forward dash now. But as you know in 1.1 she'll have the GA hover dash in the air as well. The game treats the hovers as jumps. You can still air dash and jump after you've done them. Currently, say you 44 out of Valk pressure and you feel your too close to the corner. You cant do much. I mean you can iad forward if you want but you cant control it and you would most likely land right in front of Valk. Best thing to do would be to land and possibly super jump and try to move around him. But thats unsafe. In 1.1 imagine the same situation. With her new option she should be able to 44 out, 44 again if need be to get even further. And then 66 and maneuver yourself as see fit to try to avoid Valk. It may not be as good as it sounds in practice but she will have the option.
Engaged to Unidentified, I think I'm enjoying this show almost too much. Especially when you used to see old traits of yourself in character models; Benio. Please tell me that you're at least watching this. Oh right, I'll be turning to you and some of the Izayoi community for help in learning the character. I'll save the questions for later till I put her in the lab more often.
Other then being borderline hopeless during his pressure, she cant catch him during neutral. Anti airs are easy to bait out and shes place in a horrid amount of recovery. Her 5A's hitbox isn't good enough to stop him usually and her air to airs are subpar. They usually lose or trade against him. Either situation usually ends up in his favor. Can't really saber because he can maneuver around them and attack you. Or just bullshit tail whip you. Air sabre is ok but ts still possible for him to punish easily. Neutral is never in her favor. The only thing I can think of is being able to match his movement on at least some level. I fought Drieze sometime last week and i was experimenting on doing the matchup backwards. And neutral was a bit easier since GA backdash helped me get out of alot of bad situations. In 1.1 youd be able to backdash and hover forward to initiate some type of offense. It may not be as effective in practice but It'll at least turn the tides a bit
Some of her matchups are increasingly difficult because she has limited movement. Valk, Rachel, and Amane matchups are the first to come to mind. Aigis was and still is top because of her ez mode mixup, damage/reward off said ex mode mixup, and her absurd movement. The movement is just one piece of it all. I was planning to play those matchups backwards. Go in GA at the beginning and then getting a confirm and getting some meaty oki to go into NM. I've already found a corner route, which should work since 5C has less pushback. Midscreen may be a little harder. I'm also experimenting with a few new pressure strings that should could possibly do. 5A/5C > jump cancel 7 jump > 66 hover dash j.B/C should be a thing and should be really fast. Throw whiff 2B could work too. Aigis can do it and Izayoi should too. Im just hoping j.B/C comes out because she hits the ground
Havnt seen you much since fall hit so I assumed you started up school again. Im excited for the update. One thing I just want to see first is how fast she'll be with her new gain art movement. Either way it's a really good buff though. It's going to make alot of her matchup a lot easier imo. I've been experimenting some things in training mode and studying Aigis movement in persona in prep for it.
Hows your Izayoi been
If you don't care about the story, then getting B/W2 is fine. You can catch a lot more pokemon in B/W2 than in B/W, mainly because B/W doesn't let you catch pokemon from previous generations until the post-game whereas B/W2 has them available from the start. If you want to complete your pokedex, then of course you need to get all of the games.
