- The hit-confirmed 2D > (H laser wallstick) is interesting.
- This setup is most likely to be dependent on distance, relative to a wall. Otherwise, you might only get knockback from the aerial H Laser hit.
- In regards to the scenario in the video, it might be possible to do the following combo sequence instead: AD j.2S > j.H > land > jump > air combo
- There might be an opportunity for other combo options after 2D > (H Laser wallstick) (will likely require testing/experimentation).

IIRC, 2H gave you more time to setup. In #R, H fish, which shot faster, became very close to a perfect crossup off of 2D. This would mean in AC+R, 2D -> HD fish likely would give them quite a window to escape, though this is testable in AC if it mattered.
tldr; It is probably just a 2h setup against knowledgeable opponents.
